Haha. Great cover, but I am laughing because it does have over 400k views so I think a couple people have heard it. 😉💙

Ugh, that's weird.
That one line "little old lady got mutilated late last night" always cracks me up. It just rolls off the tongue like a machine gun.

First, rock requires an electric guitar or it's not rock.
Second, that Garrett Borns guy needs some testosterone quick. He sounds and acts like a woman. That being said, great performance. He should put on a drag show.
Don't tell Little Richard you can't rock without a guitar; dude made ivory keys rock just fine.
Okay, good point. But could a band like Metallica or Led Zeppelin do rock with a piano and no guitar?
shareThey probably *could* but that wasn't their sound. But the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Queen, or guys like Elton John and Warren Zevon could rock hard without guitars if they wanted to. Songs like Werewolves of London and Saturday Night's All Right for Fighting have guitars in them, but if Elton or Warren had done it all via piano, I think it would've turned out just fine.
shareOkay. It dawned on me. Lol. Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk did great rock with synthesizers.

Dire Straits such a good band. It made me go looking for a cover of theirs, found this.

Dire straits sultans of swing....it has such a cool guitar piece in it, instantly recognizable
Terrible, sounds like Knopfler has marbles in his mouth. He's just murdering that song, and it's legal cause he's a famous guy.

Recording is more than a little uneven. Covers to me are great. If the musicians were my friends or local groups in a pub, I can enjoy it and even sing right along. But I would not want to play the recording or buy it or listen to it again.
But I really only enjoy covers that bring something new and unique to a song that adds something to the original song.
Children of the Grave (Black Sabbath cover) - Randy Rhoads Tribute Album; mostly, the only people that have heard this live track are the people who own the album.

I don't like Black Sabbath but this seems pretty cool.

Charles Bradley performs soulful cover of Black Sabbath's 'Changes'
'Changes', yes, I watched this one before and I have the same experience hearing it now. Bradley did such an amazing job, and his emotions are so present -- it's as if this was the original track [and that Black Sabbath's was the cover.]
