Pepsi vs. Coca-Cola

I don't drink soda that much, so I don't have a strong opinion at all about this competition. But I am fascinated by the history of this soda war, and I have several family and acquaintances that are semi-addicted to these caffeinated drinks

So pepsi or coke, and why?

reply

cherry pepsi

reply

I always get Coke if it is available.

reply

Coke. Pepsi is too sweet.

reply

You're too sweet

reply

That's because of all the sugar you pour on me.😘

reply

Coke. There are few things better than an ice cold Coke.

I can barely drink Pepsi because I get a weird aftertaste from it.

reply

You're trying to make an accounting for tastes? Just know that there was more than one scientific test done years ago that showed Coke was preferred by about 2:1.

COKE OVER PEPSI LIKE STEAK OVER ROASTED DOG TURDS....COKE IS AMAZING AND PEPSI TASTES LIKE A CAN OF PEPSI OPENED AND LEFT OUTSIDE OVERNIGHT...GROSS ASS SHIT...MYSELF,I AM A CHERRY COKE MAN...I DRINK IT EXCLUSIVELY AND IT WILL KILL ME ONE DAY.

reply

Coke is it.

reply

NEITHER! They are both horrible for your teeth and your general health.

Pepsi has 2 more grams of sugar than Coke in a 12-ounce can (41 grams versus 39 grams). You are rinsing your teeth with a LOT of sticky sugar!

Tooth decay. Like regular soda, diet soda is associated with dental erosion due to its acidic pH level. This comes from the addition of acids, such as malic, citric, or phosphoric acid, for flavor

DIET SODAS are not good for you either:

A can of Diet Coke contains 46 mg of caffeine, while Diet Pepsi contains 35 mg.

Although diet soda has no calories, sugar, or fat, it has been linked to the development of type 2 diabetes and heart disease in several studies.

Diet soda has also been linked to increased risks of high blood pressure and heart disease.

Drinking diet soda has been linked to an increased risk of chronic kidney disease.

HYDRATION

While it might not always cause dehydration, drinking soda isn't the best way to manage hydration. Try drinking WATER.
