Movies about starting a new life!

So I watched "Under the Tuscan Sun" again a few days ago, and really enjoyed it.

Any other movies like that, about the process of starting a new life? Everyone likes to watch that kind of fantasy, because so many of us dream about just dropping everything and starting over, right? And hell, I've actually done it a couple of times, and feel like watching movies about the process. I

Seconds (66)

Has kinda a Twilight Zone quality to it.

Seen it!

And yeah, it's an outstanding movie, but it's NOT fun.

Bad Boy Bubby

Very good movie, but felt it went downhill a bit when he found that beautiful woman who was WAY too nice. A fantasy, but it's nice to dream during a movie.

That would be my choice too.

Under The Tuscan Sun was a pretty good romance story and Diane Lane was a real knockout. I loved the scenery too.

Another good ‘woman changes her life’ movie is Enough (02) although it’s NO tale of romance.

Jennifer Lopez plays an abused wife who flees across country to escape her sadistic husband. Life starts to seem good for J Lo but of course her creepy ex tracks her down…What the nincompoop doesn’t know is that she’s been martial arts training and is now an ass-whooping machine with her dial turned up to 11.

Pretty fun stuff for revenge movie fans👍

Hmm... I thought this was a Halle Berry movie?

Edit: I was wrong. It was the J.Lo movie you mentioned that I watched years ago. Idk why I thought it was Halle Berry. I don't even remember I've ever watched a J.Lo movie.

Maybe Berry did a similar movie, it’s not the most original script.

I was wrong again. Actually I've watched multiple J.Lo movies. I can't believe it. She's actually in many many movies! I just immidiately thought of Gigli when I heard of J.Lo movie and was like oh, I've never seen that.

Eh, we all watch so much stuff it’s easy to get confused…happens to me every week😎

I think Jennifer Lopez is very good on-screen, she’s gorgeous and a reasonably good performer.

I keep my copy of Under The Tuscan Sun bundled with A Good Year (2006). Not quite the same thing but I find it equally enjoyable.
