Well I just finished the machinist and it still really bugs me.

reply

Why's that? Unnerving as it is, I enjoyed The Machinist as a film. The first time I saw it was on a date with a bipolar person who took just about every opportunity to lash out against minor misunderstandings. Compared to that nightmare, not sleeping for a year doesn't seem half bad.

You are the only other human I have ever heard reference Clash in the College.

It was so bonkers that I kept wishing Paul Kattupalli would one day team up with Tommy Wiseau.

A Serbian Film

It's not the content of the movie that haunts me. It's the fact that there were some people somewhere thinking, discussing, designing, financing, hiring, and working hard to make this movie.

They should have had stopped at thinking.

And this is why I’ll never see that movie …

reply

I didn't even see the film. Just read a synopsis and wanted to throw up...

reply

I watched it and stop near the middle. Repulsive. 🤮
I advise everyone not to watch it.
