IMDb TV is now called Freevee

Quite a clever name when said, but looks stupid when written.

reply

Should be FreeV.

reply

Agreed

reply

I've watched a few things on it. There are too many commercials.

reply

True

reply

yet just another ad filled thing I will not support

reply

And is basically just amazon tv.. But you still have to pay for Amazon Prime even though it's "free?"

I'm still confused.

reply

You can get Freevee even if you are not a member of Amazon Prime. I get it using my Roku. One could watch it over their computer if nothing else.

reply

I watch it on my Roku sometimes. I'm not crazy about the FreeVee name and the opening graphic is cheesy. But hey, it's free. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

reply

It's the only place I can watch Columbo :)

reply

Tubi has Columbo.

and the rockford files.

reply

Yep. I find that often the classics from the 1970s and 80s are on more than one free service. I bounce between Tubi, FreeVee, the Roku channel, and Pluto. I'd say that Pluto has the most ads, but that's just my impression.

reply

Free is good. Vudu also does movies "free with ads", which aren't too annoying.

reply

I don't find the ads on free services all that bad. I've certainly never experienced a dozen or more during a break like you get on network TV. Quite often, you get a countdown clock so you know whether it's a 90-second break (not all that often) or a 30-second one. Or you know that it's ad one of three, etc. That I can tolerate.

reply

I noticed that Freevee, Tubi, and Pluto all have a lot of commercials, but its nice to have access to so many free movies. I just finished Alice Sweet Alice 1972 on Tubi.
