I had a sampler of English Leather in the early 80's that I really liked, and I bought "English Leather" about 20 years ago but it wasn't the same scent...
English Leather was a favorite years ago. Nowadays, I still like, "...the great smell of Brut." ;)

Nothing beats vintage Kouros on a hot summer day, for me. (For outdoor use only.) Terre d'Hermès is great as well, and a bit "safer."
In cooler weather, Antaeus and Égoïste are favorites.
She could smell like a big greasy burger for all I care.
