Is Moviechat deleting posts?

This was a statement I made under actor Tommy Kirk's board on Moviechat that I thought was worthwhile to introduce on General Discussion:

Tommy Kirk died in September of 2021. At the time a lot of people (mainly Boomers and Gen X, I imagine, who would have been of the age to see Tommy's Disney movies) had kind words to say about him on Moviechat. There was much talk about his homosexuality which was well-known, and Tommy never denied it which cost him his contract with Disney. Today I happened to find one of Tommy's last Disney movies, The Misadventures of Merlin Jones. I came here to see what people had to say but all the threads under Tommy's name have been removed except one. Why? Everybody was very considerate toward him. There were no homophobic comments made and some guys talked about having crushes on him. What happened to all those sweet comments about Tommy? Are Moviechat's moderators populated with homophobes?

The mods replied directly to you in the original post. Not really necessary to bring the discussion here.

I saw that after I posted here. He claims they know nothing of it. It still is odd these RIP comments disappearing for no reason.
