Humble Pie.

Briefly speaking, what do we all think of this 1970s British hard rock band? Personally I'm a fan.

reply

Who isn't? They're even better than Aerosmith.

reply

Never been a fan of Aerosmith.

reply

Dammit sam, you hate KISS AND dislike Aerosmith?!?

Why do I even talk to you🙄?

reply

Throw in The Beach Boys, Van Halen, Grateful Dead, Mötley Crüe and Guns N' Roses. That's pretty much it for all the big name bands I hate.

reply

Oh, that's it, BLOCKED and REPORTED!

reply

You mean rocked and promoted.

reply

Uggh, you probably like soccer!

That's how annoying you are!!

reply

from the 2004 rolling stone record guide:

'at the peak of the pie's inscrutably monstrous success amiable maniac steve marriott brandished on of the most annoying voices in rock: a hectoring, sandpaper parody of black authenticity. now unlistenable, this stuff then was considered soulful, perhaps as a populist headbanging antidote oto the smarmy 'good taste' of the singer/songwriters who dominated radio.'

i've only heard 30 days in the hole. i don't like it much.

reply

That's harsh.

reply

i have nothing against steve marriott or humble pie! i just happened to have the album guide pulled out, as i was browsing through it a few nights back, and figured i'd share what critic paul evans had to say.

reply

I know. I think his assessment is harsh.

reply

KISS and Aerosmith beat them up and ate their lunch.

reply

Jokes on them because the lunch was poison. Humble Pie was always a step ahead of the American bands.
