shareI'MNOT EATING TODAY...SO...CHERRY COKE AND MARIJUANA.
sharei thought weed made a person hungry?
shareI AM A SPECIAL ANIMAL...WEED FOCUSES MY BRAIN,CURBS MY APPETITE AND ENERGIZES ME...GOD I LOVE WEED.🙂
sharedoes your wife cook?
shareNO...NEVER.
sharewhat does your daughter eat?
shareI FEED HER...SHE EATS GOOD...I UNFORTUNATELY CANNOT EAT FOOD THAT I,MYSELF PREPARE...SO I EAT TAKEOUT AND CRAP OR NOTHING...AND NOW I'M 40...WITHOUT THE WEED I WOULD BE DEAD SOON.🙂
share40 is still young, so you should really start to take care of you health. Personally, I love smoking a little weed and creating new dishes. Fun, healthy and definitely cheaper than take out
shareCheese ravioli with marinara. Salad of cucumber, carrot, celery, iceberg lettuce.
shareWe had steak, mashed potatoes and a salad
And since I did the dishes I sopped up the blood and gravy in the pan with white bread...The best part of cleaning up!
rice, tofu, mixed vegetables, chickpeas, with a touch of hot sauce.
shareDo you eat meat? Chicken?
sharenever, except for family/holiday dinners.
i 'think' next january is my 8 yr vegetarian anniversary. insert your '8 years of hell' joke here if you like. i can take it!
I just don’t understand the chicken part. Isn’t it OK and normal to eat small birds that are good with anything, especially mayo?
sharehonestly, if i ever were to eat meat again, i would eat beef.
cows in the meat industry for the most part don't have it too bad in terms of suffering during their lives, and when you kill one cow, you get an awful lot out of it.
that said, the calculation of what has to go into feeding a cow to the point where they're slaughtered is much worse than it is for poultry. so from a resource/environment perspective, beef is probably worse. but from an animal suffering pov, it's better.
i do miss meat. i crave it, and i occasionally eat fake meat products to get my fix.
(sorry for droning on - i can annoy people on this topic, & i've learned not to bang on about it).
No no, go on. It’s interesting.
But you still haven’t answered my question about the chicken. Because I am the kind of guy that could be friends any living creature is except maybe a rat. Even there, I think I still might. And Indid have a chicken friend once, she was all white and called her Cathy. BUT, Do you really care about their emotions and the way they are treated before execution? I mean, they chickens!! Pok pok!
hahaha.
here's something that might sound a bit weird coming from a guy who swore off eating animals: i don't really have any great love or emotional attachment to most animals. like any normal human, i like dogs and cats. but i didn't cut off meat because of emotions.
it was when i learned about how much real suffering there is in the meat and egg and dairy industry. i read a book called 'the ethics of what we eat' by peter singer, and that was a book that changed how i looked at these things.
i know lots of people don't think animal suffering is that serious a thing, but we're all responsible for the outcomes of our actions, and if what we do causes a lot of animal suffering, then i think we all should think about that. more than we do now, at least.
there's very little question that almost all the animals we eat can suffer (oysters, mussels would be obvious exceptions), and there's no question that the way we raise chickens and pigs does make them suffer, often really badly.
so it's a question of misery and pain that the animals. to me, it's a utilitarian calculation that to me is part of living ethically.
if you're interested, here's a short interview with singer where he talks about some of these things. i highly recommend his book if you're interested. and i'm not out to convert you or anyone. but it's a good book for looking at some core principles and evaluating animal treatment.

Okay I can understand that.
sharei could never eat tofu.
shareMy wife pulls the Tofu card at dinner time every so often, we've had some big dust-ups about this
Tofu is pretty much without flavor and has the springy consistency of a marshmallow
I've had it with various sauces, I don't really see the point as it's neither filling nor particularly tasty...it's made out of some weird flavorless bean I think...
Lousy stuff, give me a chicken and a baked potato woman!!
noooo! i will fight you on this!
extra firm tofu thinly sliced & fried so that it has a nice crunch in a stir-fry or mixed in with potatoes is just great.
potatoes, kale & x-firm tofu with a bit of hot sauce is one of my favourite comfort meals.
I can't believe we get along!
we can get past this.
all that you need to do is this:
lightly fry a half brick of extra firm tofu cut into strips about 1.5cm thick.
mix in with basmati rice, mixed vegetables, chick peas, a generous amount of your preferred hot sauce and a touch of soy sauce if you like.
then we'll be back to being cool!
I'd maybe eat that with a steak, lol
We are always cool buddy😎
i my wife starts making tofu i am ordering macdonalds.
sharePoulet attieke alloco. C’était très bon.
shareA whopper from Burger King... I was too lazy to drive the extra miles to In and Out Burger😥
