Triple threats who are so bad that they're not a threat.

Usher
Jennifer Lopez
Tyler Perry
Justin Timberlake

Oooh meow 🙀

reply

Am I wrong though?

reply

Depends on your taste I guess. I like J-Lo’s acting and some of her music, and Timberlake is a decent singer and a passable actor. Usher has a great voice, even though I’m not a huge fan of his music and I’m not sure I’ve seen any of his acting work. All three can dance.

I’m not familiar with Tyler Perry’s work 🤷‍♂️

reply

Does Christopher Lee dance? Because he clearly has the acting and the music down.

reply

Ha! Umm, I suppose if you’re a fan of talk-singing faux-metal covers of Frank Sinatra songs.

He’s a legend, but I’d describe him more as a single threat.

reply

Lee was allegedly a spy and assassin during WWII, which with his expertise in acting... would really put the "threat" in triple threat!

reply

Didn't know that.

reply

His Cousin, Ian Fleming, was supposedly the spy. Somehow the story keeps getting attributed to Lee.

reply

"...to be here, pushing a pen in London..." That was Fleming's actual role in British intelligence, a very mundane one. He learned of this man, who embodied his fantasies of having a more glamorous one and thus, James Bond was born in his imagination.

reply

I do like do think that Lee himself was part of the inspiration for Bond, he was Fkeming's cousin after all. And he played a Bond villain, it would all be so ironic if it were true!

But I've heard it said that Lee exaggerated his experiences with the Office if Ungentlemanly Warfare a bit.

reply

"I do like yo think..."

That might be what you speculate but nowhere did I imply that I thought Lee was "part of the inspiration" for Bond. I made it clear that it was the man mentioned in the video, coupled with Fleming's fantasies of an extension of himself.

reply

I never said you implied that! I implied the hell out of it, I didn't mean to drag you into it.

reply

Ok, you corrected your typo, which changes everything. I thought you meant to type "you" and failed.

reply

No, I failed to type a different word, sorry about that. Kisses!

reply

I'd have to agree with you Jennifer Lopez is a great singer and has done some really good acting on occasion.

reply

Yeah you just have to watch Out of Sight (which I loved) and Hustlers (which I didn’t!) to see that she has some serious acting talent.

reply

Enough and Selena as well.

reply

Out of Sight is the only Lopez movie I have ever liked. Even though Soderbergh wrung a decent performance out of her, she still was not great. Merely finally acceptable. I love Out of Sight but I can't say she was "great." She was OK in it which, by comparison, seems great.

reply

I like j lo and j t

reply

How about quadruple threats?

Tommy Wisseau, producer, writer, director, and actor.

reply

That would also be Max Baer Jr. for Macon County Line (1974).

reply

That was one of the more successful drive in movies of the time. Of course, that doesn't mean it was actually good.

reply

I just discovered that I was misled by prior inaccurate information about Baer having directed it. He did not. The film was also falsely promoted as being a true story.

reply

I didn't want to go for elite people.

reply

My mistake. Yeah, Tommie Wisseau doesn't belong here. He is very much a threat.

reply

I am not into any of them acting-wise. Nor their singing. I guess i can give 'em the dancing thing.
