Euro 2021.

Who are you https://statics.sportskeeda.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/146062641-1436776459-500.jpg to win this year?

I think France is going to end up winning it.

reply

are you really into this?

reply

Damn right.

reply

what about COPA?

reply

No way.

reply

why not?

reply

The only elite teams are Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay (sometimes).

reply

how many elite teams are there in the euro?

reply

France, Germany, Portugal, England, Spain, Italy.

Then there's the second tier which would still destroy South American teams: Russia, Sweden, Poland, Belgium, Croatia.

reply

I hope someone scores.

reply

😊😊

reply

It's just a cultural thing we're never going to bridge... it's like Japanese baseball (from what I've read) the final score is almost meaningless...

reply

why is the score meaningless?

reply

There was a movie with Tom Selleck? where he played baseball in a Japan league... It's more about the sportsmanship, the good decisions made, the execution... the really reason to celebrate is if everyone did their best...

reply

One of the reasons I don't watch basketball is because teams score too much.

reply

On that we agree.

reply

Scoring says absolutely nothing about how exciting a sports game is.

reply

Scoring chances do and Turkey had none.

reply

Actually no. A defensive team usually has less shots at goal, but their midfield and defense can be so strong, the teams continuously keep fighting for the ball. Once again you show you just don't understand the game.

And apparently Italy had 24 attempts at goal, so why are you complaining...

reply

England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿, naturally.

reply

It's coming home. (The plane after getting knocked out of the group stages).

reply

Honestly, I think semis is a good bet.

reply

Scenes when Harry Kane has a masterclass and wins the Euro but doesn't get the physical trophy because UEFA refuses to see a Spurs player with one.

reply

Perfectly fair.

reply

Let the games begin!

I was so happy when Portugal won in 2016. Such a great victory for a relatively small country against a powerhouse.

reply

They didn't deserve it because they played defensively and were outplayed pretty much every game, but it's good to see a country like that won.

reply

I beg to differ. They lost CR early in the match and had to play nearly the whole game without the man who had carried them to the Final. Rui Patricio made some excellent saves, Pepe played the game of his life, and Eder had an absolute beauty of a goal. They most definitely deserved their hard won victory.

reply

[deleted]

It was life support for them every game.

reply

"conservative team, stubborn and hard to break down (and hard to watch)"

Sounds exciting!

reply

[deleted]

All's I did was asking who you're picking.

reply

would be aiight if France won again.. we'll see.

reply

the tennis match is better

reply

did turkey get out of their own half of the field?

reply

Oh c’mon, we don’t troll your hockey threads. Although truthfully they probably didn’t.

reply

To be fair, my hockey team didn't get past our own half either.

reply

from what i saw, turkey should not have been there.

reply

Should have been pardoned.

reply

or stayed home
