It's "M" day 😢

The moving van just pulled up outside. Today's the big move for my best friends. On MC, you may have seen me refer to them as Mr & Mrs Neighbor. We've been friends since the first day I moved here 8 years ago. They're like my siblings, and I'll miss them a lot. It's going to be tough for me for a while.

They'll be back for a quick trip now and then until they close here on the 30th, but for all practical purposes, they're gone...😢

I feel for the moving guys. All this heat and humidity...😬🥵

About 150 miles north.

That's not too bad - an excuse to visit for holidays.

Yes, it's doable, for sure. And it's not as though I'll never see them again. It's the almost daily interactions with them that will be the big adjustment.

Once they are good and settled in try to visit them

Between now and then start thinking about a great housewarming gift they'd appreciate
