Autocorrect can be a hazardous thing. About twenty years ago I had a question about something I had seen on Bob Vila's TV show. I found his web site, and it had a "Contact Bob" email address. So I wrote an email to him, using my word processor. I then copied the text into my email and sent it to him.

Later I had one of those "did I forget to say this" moments and looked at the email in my "Sent" folder. It was then that I saw that the word processor's autocorrect had done its magic. My email to him began, "Dear Mr. Vile."

He never responded. Gee, I wonder why?

Lassie Come Home!

Damn! Who's gonna be my Hawkwind mentor now? They have 30+ albums for Gods sake!

reply

Just buy them ALL!

reply

But where to start? My fear is when I attend a Hawkwind gig they'll all laugh at me for liking the experimental songs that nobody else likes! It'll be the Toyah concert all over again.

Start with "In Search of Space" (1971)

It began with Moonglum...

What makes you come to this conclusion Moonglum9?

You can say retired ALSO. As in - I now retire from the race of humanity (such a line was used in one Ukrainian pop song in Ukrainian language but with an English title "Train" by the pop/rock band Skryabin.)

P.S. I FELT like this at times - to retire from human race from time to time, move to another planet, galaxy, world, dimension etc.
