The owner is a former "page 3 model" who has a web site where she sells photos and other such things. If I were the suspicious sort, I'd wonder if this is a publicity stunt to drum up business.

shareYes, been there similar but not a lab, although we had Nile grass rats and they were incredibly vicious!
shareWe called ours "lab rats" but they were actually white mice. Friendly enough, they were used to being handled by people, but there were certain things you just did not do with them. When they bit it was quite painful! I'd hate to be bitten by anything close to a full sized rat.
