and i agree on all that other stuff. i'm actually a bit sympathetic to some of those viewpoints, at least to some extent. these are complicated topics.
but i come here to get away from the corrosive influence of politics and the ugly culture battles that seem to take up all the air everywhere else these days, not to get more of the same!
i am not generally in favour of heavy handed moderation, but that's one area where i think a bit of diligence and house-cleaning - moving topics to the proper area - makes for a much better user experience.

They do, and its annoying, but this isn't one of them.... It's two actors out of thousands.
No matter. The issues that bother me in Hollywood are those where it affects movies themselves. Demanding boycotts because an actor isn't gay, but plays one on the screen. That's what acting is, lol.. I doubt they say this when gay actors play a straight one, and I'm sure you know all the others. I feel artistic license has been thrown out the window.
