Are cinemas open where you live?
I'm lucky enough to have cinemas. Still unlucky though to not have much to lure me in.
Not yet, hopefully soon.
The last thing I saw was New Mutants (it wasn't good).

Technically any theatre can be open as long as you have a crowbar and a good lookout.

shareThey are in New Jersey. They are maybe 25% or 35% capacity and you have to wear a mask unless eating/drinking. and they take the 2 seats on both sides of you away to promote social distancing.
I went this past Friday and Saturday and saw the LotR Trilogy. I bought seats away from everyone and was able to watch them without wearing a mask (even when I wasn't eating). it wasn't like there was someone walking by and taking notes.
This was my first time in a theater even before the pandemic. I was so busy with other hobbies I never found time to go. And if I did have time, there was nothing that really peaked my interest to spend the time/money to go. so it was really nice getting to have the movie experience again.
Some are. I got my 2nd shot yesterday and my husband got his two weeks ago, so we will be able to go by mid-March.
Right now Wonder Woman 1984 is at one, so maybe that will still be there in a couple of weeks.

shareOk. But what if it's 12/05/2021. I get confused whether that means December 5th, 2021 or May. 21, 2021. It's irritating.
shareThat’s very interesting - I’ve never known anyone who isn’t Dyslexic confuse 21 with 12. Actual numerical dates are never written backwards in English.
It’s confusing because the US chose to write dates differently (with months and days reversed) 😉 Your example to me is 12th of May but to you it would mean December 5th!
The USA is the only country that does this.
