Does our world etc HAVE to be the way it is? And if not, why IS it?

As in, why do good things happen but often more bad things happen? Why do we have ignorance and stupidity? Evil and ruthlessness? Seriousness and bluntness? Why do good people suffer and evil get away with it?

And more importantly, does God, Earth, nature, the universe etc really care in any way or do those things (and does God even exist?) have no sentient value or cognitive thoughts like us humans do so therefore it has no real ability to judge?

Why do we have conflicts and arguments? Disagreements etc? Again, does that HAVE to happen?

How come even though the good people hate the bad ones justifiably such bad people and bad deeds are unable to just disappear, and how come there is ALWAYS that harsh reality which often proves that humans will NEVER just agree on anything EQUALLY and in a satisfying enough manner and there will always be conflicts and whatnot? Again, does it have to be EXACTLY LIKE THIS and NOT THE OTHER WAY?

Also, may web sites and sources often reveal the harsh truth. But they never really say how to make sure that it all totally disappears so that we humans can just live and be happy. Or do they simply know that it is not possible and are able to approach a heavily emotional matter in a more nuanced and calm way than my grandmother say once could, but still NOT condone the matter? Again, does it HAVE to be this way at all?

And also? How come I am not rich or the biggest genius ever and why do I have to struggle and be emotionally down and shaken in life? Again, does life HAVE to be like this, why can't I be rich, happy, handsome, perfect, 100 per cent intelligent, totally correct on thoughts, non obsessive, life perfect life etc, does anyone know? Thank you.

There is no plan
Play with the cards you are dealt

Work hard, get a car, get a good Lady (or guy, up to you,) buy a place, maybe make a baby, live as well as you can and forget this philosophy stuff...it's a big masturbatory waste of time

All due respect Buddy, I have respect for your interest in The Big Questions but at some point you must start living

The alternative is on it's way.

I take it cards are metaphorical here but can be literal too. I have a debit and a credit bank cards at home, I also have cards as in for a game of cards but I practically never play them haha.

reply

Yes, just a figure of speech you silly goose lol!

Imagine if you were born blind or crippled or had a terrible illness, God Forbid...Lots of people have it way worse, just soldier on and don't worry over philosophy so much, it's all a big waste of time my friend

Sometimes by the way I may feel hurt, down and upset, but I am not too sure if under the circumstances it is just ME being hurt as in certain things affect ME PERSONALLY in a special and specific way OR if someone actually does something seriously wrong like says something insensitive and politically incorrect, or the truth is too hurtful, and that such would hurt ANYONE ELSE EQUALLY but where is the truth ?

My religious fanatic friend told me once when we were discussing this topic that the Devil is firmly in control on Earth, and I have to hand it to her, I can't think of any better explanation for it.

reply

Not the Devil, the devils.

reply

If the Devil apologised to god, would god forgive him? It's not like he killed an angel or anything like that. All he did was "disobey" god's commands. And all god did was make him sit in the corner for eternity. All the "evil" and grief and war and death in the world is just Satan throwing a tantrum to get god's attention and make him change his mind. If Satan said sorry, the world and the universe would be the perfect utopia we all want. Yeah?

reply

Part of being the Devil is never saying sorry ... kind of like being a Republican. ;-)

reply

But what if he did? Would god forgive him? God says he'll forgive anyone who repents, so...

[no politics, okay?]

Well, now... those are the kind of questions upon which basically every single human spiritual/philosophical belief system has ever been built; which is to say, in other words, there's no shortage of answers, but there's equally no guarantee any of them will satisfy your needs, either.

Me, personally, I've found that belief systems which include a plurality of worlds and/or dimensions, the general amount of happiness - or lack thereof - of the more or less conscious beings that inhabit them depending on how much they have made to earn that specific place at that specific point in their existence (in which their view of their own larger, eternal existence, is inevitably limited), are the ones that make the most sense for me.

Mileages, I expect, will vary as they're wont to.

Because our universe is predetermined (I know this for a fact because of numerology) and our simulator(s) obviously prefer it to be this way. They're assholes, I guess

One of the main reasons I ask this, and I don't necessarily deny it may just be me but still, is because I often feel, through series of truths and other information told to me, as well as upbringing, personal beliefs etc and emotions, is that our world and especially our humanity HAS to be different than it is. And that, basic human rights and personal autonomy etc and empathy of course being important as they are for what they are, the rules that apply to them simply MUST be abided for our OWN well being and benefit and that when it does NOT all go as planned and as have to be, I feel put off, emotionally upset and shattered and wonder whether or not certain rules and ideas exist in nature and set in stone. And even if they aren't, then I often can't help but FEEL that it SHOULD be. And does anyone else often feel that way?

I think you are comparing your life to a perceived perfect life. This perceived perfect life doesn't actually exist. No doubt other people have better lives then yours though. I think you are dealing with some sort of reality disorder for lack of a better term. But one thing I believe which is not universally agreed with is that everything that has happened, is happening and will happen had already happened. So keep all appendages inside the cart and enjoy the ride. Start to question reality too much and you will realise you're on a track. Peace out.
