Cutting the Cord

After my cable bill spiked this month, I've cut the cord, I have a smart tv, and a roku stick and an antennae that picks up about 60 stations. Right now I"m experimenting with the free week of youtube tv. Next week I'll try out Sling, then Hulu the week after. Have to admit, it's quite a change from Xfinity's service but its an adventure. When I returned my cable box to the Xfinity store they offered me their flex box (free) which I accepted but rarely use.

Congrats. More and more are doing the same.

Wise choice.

I did the same thing over a year ago...
No complaints and it's a lot cheaper👍

Extended basic cable (Spectrum) is included with my rent. But if it ever doesn't, I would definitely not continue the service.

Switched to satellite a few months ago and don't regret it. During lockdown, hunting feeds and decrypting packages was a nice hobby. Because of the current situation, no provider dares to update encryption substantially.

i would recommend netflix.

I cut the cord and love it also. I use a Roku, subscribe to Sling and Amazon Prime plus have an antenna that gives me about 30 local channels.

I’m leaning towards that
