I’m gonna be an island here and say I don’t think the song is *so* terrible. Pretty standard punk/rockabilly patische that everyone was doing back in the day. The video is pretty hilarious. It reminds me of the movie Sing Street, like what you’d expect if some teenage kids decided to start a band without any clear direction other than copying everything that was on the radio at the time.

Kinda cute.

We already had The Romantics from years prior.
