Does winter depress you?

If so, you should try light box therapy. Basically a bright box will help you mentally.

Not so much anymore that it doesn't cause domestic abuse.

I really don't like winter. I'm a spring and summer person.

Same. Hate winter. If I moved south and never saw snow again would not miss it at all.

reply

Same. I find absolutely nothing appealing about snow. It is so depressing.

I used to think Winter weather and the short days had no effect on me.
Then I started feeling Depression and wondered how much Seasonal Affect Disorder had to do with it.
For me, I think if Life is going swimmingly, (especially when I was younger), I don't mind Winter.
But if Life sucks, Winter sure doesn't help.

Yes

No.
Snowy landscapes are so peaceful and the best sports you can do in Alpine terrain are winter sports.

reply

No. Melbourne's winter is mild by European and North American standards and I prefer cold weather to hot weather anyway.

I just get all up in Old Man Winter’s frosty face and yell “YOU CANT BRING ME DOWN, OLD MAN! I GOT THESE!”
And then I rattle a bottle of vitamin D at him and pick him up over my head, twirl him around a few times and throw him towards New York. Problem solved.

I love winter. Born and raised in Canada and I used to live for a time in Detroit, Michigan. So, I dig winter. Hate the summer.
