Even the most high brow, socially “woke” individuals have groups or individuals they comfortably pass judgement on and think it’s ok to bully. This calls into question the entire SJW movement and really, people’s ability to be objectively and invariably humane to everyone. I don’t think it’s possible, and so I call bullshit with the entire movement.

They destroyed cities, killed and beat innocent people, while their local politicians stood by and praised the violence and destruction, and did nothing to help those being attacked as it would cost them votes. They built their own “society” without police for a few weeks, which was full of rape and murder (CHAZ). They marched arm in arm by the thousands all over the country to “cure” racism, saying it didn’t spread COVID, but if you took a vacation to the beach or went out to eat you were somehow the Antichrist. They took actual shits on destroyed police cars (look up the video) during their now infamous riots. They banned and put warning labels on movies, TV shows, sports team names, and even pancake syrup (can you say fascism?)...all in the name of “social justice”, “peace” and “tolerance”. You can’t make this shit up. These people are certifiably insane. There are plenty of them on this site every day who will actually defend this type of behavior at all cost. 🤣
I think that a significant part of the US population is experiencing a mass ... I dunno what to call it, "cultural psychosis," maybe?
I also think we're headed for one hell of a bloodbath. I don't think I'll live to see it. But the next generation? My niece is in her mid-twenties and has just had a baby with her boyfriend. They're going to try to make a go of it as a couple. I hope he's got what it takes to pick up a weapon, man a post, and stand a watch -- because she's going to need it.
1/3 of all people in countries have an authoritarian personality trait. They have greater fear so seek a strong man leader aka: dictator to protect them. They will blindly follow, believe anything he says and even kill for him. They feel safe with only people like themselves. They also want priviledge based on belonging to the ingroup - us vs. them. They are antiscience.
Certain groups are socialized to be authoritarian from childhood like evangelicals who are taught to not question God's existence. They are a significant part of politics now.
There are also politicians, business leaders, rich who want power and money so they will support authoritarianism if it means they gain more.
Social scientists and governments have studied this for decades to avoid another Hitler.
Increased immigration and diversification have increased the fear level which is why multiple countries have rushed to authoritarian leadership and away from democracy
It's more likely that democracy will end within the next few election cycles unless that "fear" and corrupt power grab can be addressed.
Sorry, I’m not seeing “evangelicals” as the danger. The riots and stabbings and destruction are obviously not by evangelicals. Hard to believe that’s your take or maybe I’m misinterpreting

Most of his followers didn't question and continued to follow him even when he told them to drink cyanide and kill themselves and their own children.
How many evangelicals criticize the lack of federal leadership re: 298,000 dead Americans from covid? Children in cages or still separated from parents? Mass hunger and evictions? Death threats, hate speeches and insults from political leaders they support? I hear excuses or they disregard the above.
Your comment tells me you likely have an authoritarian personality trait because you just repeated propaganda from right-wing media which refers to all marches for racial justice as riots. If you used critical thinking skills and further investigated on your own, then you would realize that the majority of marches were very peaceful. You casually dismissed the majority of peaceful marches and ignored violent attacks from hate groups and politicians.
A further question to ask yourself is if you believe blacks deserve equal rights and justice. There are authoritarians who will make excuses and not support this because they want to be treated better than minorities.
Evangelicals make up a significant part of the Republican party now which is why I mentioned them. I don't see them using their voice to defend the weak and suffering, preaching love and brotherhood like Jesus taught.

Instead of explaining your position or pointing out where you believe I'm incorrect, you're running off. That's fine with me. But, another trait is that authoritiarians tend to gain beliefs from memorizing them instead of thinking them out. That makes it impossible to defend your beliefs since they're not really yours to begin with.
You accused me of pre-judging and dismissing you, but then called me close-minded and conceited which means you're prejudging and dismissing me. I'm not thin-skinned, therefore my feelings aren't hurt. I'm more curious than anything. I'm assuming you agree with kids in cages, mass hunger and death threats because your leaders have been silent. That supports evangelicals being part of the problem.

Antisocial behavior is not acceptable. For example, hate groups (KKK, neoNazis, Proud Boys), abusers, thieves, bigots, exploiters, immoral, selfish, criminals, etc. need to be criticized to avoid becoming normalized.
Normalizing antisocial behavior only hurts society.
How are they any different than Antifa, BLM, OWS and the New Black Panther party? The answer is they are vilified by the MSM whereas BLM is somehow respected. Antifa is virtually ignored. OWS was called a peaceful organic movement. In other words, if you tow the liberal line you are treated as mostly peaceful. If you don't, like the Tea Party, you are called violent extremists.
