2012----Most Anticipated Movies going into that year and what ended up being your favorite films

Going into 2012, do you remember what your most anticipated films were?

I remember that year very clearly due to The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises(Literally 2 of my most anticipated movies ever)

The Avengers was by far my most anticipated film of all time, I watched the trailers for that film literally hundreds of times, Ill never forget the the Super Bowl Trailer and watching it Live and The PURE JOY and AWE I felt when they revealed The Tracking shot of the group in a circle...

anyways...going into 2012, These were my most anticipated films-


1. The Avengers
2. The Dark Knight Rises
3. The Expendables 2(I loved the first movie, and JCVD is my all time favorite action star so I was extremely excited for TE2)
4. Prometheus
5. The Amazing Spider-Man(worth Noting this ended up being one of the years biggest disappointments for me)

**Side Notes---there are several films looking back that WOULD have been in my list like The The Raid Redemption and Universal Soldier Day of Reckoning but I just didnt know about them until they were getting ready to come out, so I couldnt really "Anticipate them" , I didnt find out about The Raid until I think about 2 weeks before it was released on Blu Ray.

Also The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey would have easily been at the top of my most anticipated list, But at the time in 2012 I had never seen any of The Lord The Rings movies and did not realize that I was missing out on the GREATEST trilogy of all time, once I finally watched TLOTR Trilogy in 2015, I couldnt wait to watch The Hobbit Trilogy(although The Hobbit Trilogy wasnt nearly as good, I still very much enjoyed them)

7. The Dark Knight Rises
8. Looper
9. The Campaign
