I just met Pamela Anderson today. She's really nice. She's here in BC due to COVID-19 but her home is in LA. It was really cool talking to her. My first celebrity encounter. Watched her on "Home Improvement" back in the day but didn't watch "Baywatch".
shareI met Mike Wolfe from American Pickers at their shop in Iowa back in 2011 I believe. He was a lot of fun to talk to and seemed like a good guy. He said they had been filming for years, but couldn't get a network to pick them up until the History Channel did which they were quite skeptical. Of course the show ended up being a mega hit which surprised everyone. Probably talked to him for a good hour about just picking and the show. He gave my buddy who was a farmer growing up, now works for Deere, some old metal tractor toys which he loved.
shareI had a friend in the early 90s who said he saw Alice Cooper in a Sears in Phoenix, Arizona. He was telling me that the woman behind the counter didn’t believe Cooper when he told her his first name was Alice.
