Most popular movie you haven't seen

Up until about 5 years ago I had never seen Terminator 2 ...

I've still never seen Titantic...

What's some big name movies you've never seen?

reply

I saw Superman, Superman II, and a couple of early Batman’s. I haven’t seen any superhero movies after that.

reply

You ain't missing anything.

reply

The first two of Raimi's Spider-Man movies are worth the shot.

reply

Have you seen them lately though? I watched the first one about 4 months ago.... I'm sorry, but I don't feel it held up.

reply

i think they're all still great fun. i've revisited all of them in the past 6 months or so, and i was pleasantly surprised at how much i enjoyed them. i think they're terrific action films, and they're filled with fun raimi-isms.

reply

I watched re-runs of them around a year ago and they're still fun. Granted maybe I had nostalgia clouding my vision. Maybe it would be different for someone who did not see them when they were released.

It's like Batman 89 and Batman Returns for me. Batman Returns I watched it when I was a kid, when I re-watched it it's still as good as I remember. But Batman 89 I only got to see it many years later. When I re-watched it, it's not as fun.

reply

Probably a good thing. None I'd call essential viewing.

reply

Prretty much the same: The first Batman ('89?) put me off, that early Spiderman with Dr Octopus sealed it.

reply

All the Avengers movies except the first. Ditto for Twilight.

Avatar

Gone With The Wind

Inception

Any of the Fast & Furious movies

And I’m fine with that, except I would like to see Inception one day.

reply

I had to watch the Twilight movies because of my wife and daughters. 😀

reply

Sure, your wife and daughters...

reply

Haha, one of the kids bought a doll of the black headed vampire dude and it looks like Michael Myers, so I have it on the shelf in my computer room. 😀

reply

The first step is admitting you're a Twilightaholic. Ain't no shame in backing RobPatz.

reply

No! No! I swear! 😳

reply

Pinky promise?

reply

Well, there is a DVD in my house too.

reply

I haven't seen Scarface.
I've never seen Star Wars Episode II, III, IX and Solo.
I've not seen Breaking Bad eventhough people keep recommending me, but I just feel the premise is not that interesting.

reply

Scarface is pretty good. Have you avoided it or just haven’t gotten around to it?

reply

Yeah Idk, everytime I'm sitting down and ready to watch it I'd do something else instead, like washing the dishes. Like as if there is a invisible force that prevent me to ever watch that movie lol.

I've seen all the Godfather movies, Goodfellas, Road to Perdition, Sexy Beast, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Brasco, Lock Stock, Snatch, The Departed (and all the Hong Kong originals, Infernal Affair 1-3, even the special 3-movie-in-one version), American Gangster, etc. I love gangster movies. But somehow I've yet to see Scarface lol.

reply

I preferred the departed to infernal affairs.

reply

I think they're equally good. Just different. I prefer the Hong Kong version more just because I watched that first.

reply

I really liked infernal affairs, just preferred the departed.

reply

Personally, I don't care for Scarface, but then again, if you never view it then you'll never know.

reply

I’m basically a movie guy and almost never watch television, but I started Breaking Bad and it hooked me. It was so engrossing and I felt really invested in the characters. If you ever do give it a shot, many people think it takes a couple of seasons to really get going.

reply

See. People keep recommending me Breaking Bad. I have the first season downloaded and ready to watch since... forever, I guess. But then I just watch Westworld instead lol.

The whole drug dealer thing is just not enticing me. I've never touch illegal drugs in my life. And eventhough I have a friend that do drugs, he never offers me any. Not even once. Even when I asked him, he still wouldn't sell me anything.

But then again, I like to watch mafia movies, and I'm not even Italian.

reply

I did that to.For a long time my nephew kept telling me i had to watch Breaking bad but i put it off for so long for the same reason. The drug premise just didn't interest me.Then one day out of sheer boredom and having nothing else to watch i figured i would sit through the pilot.I was hooked from there. It's one of my favorite shows.

reply

I laughed people when they told me to watch "The Sapranos" no way I said. I was hooked ten minutes into the first episode. It's a great series.

reply

You should definitely watch scarface.

reply

Yes. Someday.

reply

Which Scarface? 🤔

reply

THE Scarface.

reply

The last two Avengers movie. I just got bored of Marvel movies.

reply

The Godfather , I've attempted it a couple of times but just get bored shitless and/or fall asleep.
So definatelt not seen the sequels.

reply

I'm yet to watch deer hunter, citizen Cain and gone with the wind. Only one that looks interesting to me is deer hunter.

reply

Dear Hunter really drags, especially the first half.

reply

Yeah I've heard it's slow, that's why I've been putting off watching it.

reply

I hope you watch Apocalypse Now sometime soon. I would put it on my top 10.

reply

The one tiny slither of light to come out of this year, is I got to catch up on a lot of my 'get round to it' list.

reply

I have seen any Fast and the Furious movies past part 2. The first two were bad enough.

reply

Do you even like cars?

reply

Back To The Future.

reply

reply
