Anyone else have resting b*tch face?

People tell me that I seem so unapproachable because if I’m not smiling I look so mad or mean. Most of the time I’m concentrating or in deep thought or something, not angry. I would feel like an idiot having a smile stuck to my face all the time. How can I get over this? Does anyone else have this issue?

reply

No, I have resting botched face.

reply

Lmao!

reply

I think I do. It was even worse when I was younger. People would ask me what I was angry about. I'd have to tell them nothing.

reply

How did you improve it?

reply

Nothing consciously. I just haven't had anyone say that to me recently, so I thought possibly its not as bad these days for whatever reason.

reply

I've been told I look intimidating my whole life. Apparently it's my eyes, described as blue bullets by a friend. I gave up trying to look more approachable.

reply

Thanks Allison, for your response. The word “intimidating” (to me) means that you carry yourself with confidence which is a great thing.

reply

Intimidating can also mean aggression and/or hostility, either of which is usually the opposite of confidence.

reply

I act like I'm handsome, funny and charming.
People treat me like I'm dull and hard to look at.
What's up with that?

reply

not acting hard enough!
