Are you an organ donor?
I am - it's designated on our drivers license. They can have any body part of mine that might help someone else.

shareYes. If any of my organs can benefit another person, especially if it's a life-saving situation, I will gladly donate them. Makes more sense than burying them in the ground and letting them decay.
shareNope. I simply want my body to stay intact even after death.
shareIt is the law they automatically take your cornea. What is the big deal in not letting them have other stuff.
shareQue? Not that I know where you live, but that is not the law here in Sweden.
sharein the us they will take then unless you say no.Maybe eyes real in a Jewish funeral with burying in one day. But a regular funeral having a open casket your eyes aren't going to be real for the funeral anyway after a few days dead.Nobody wants to see decomposed eyes in a open casket funeral.
shareIt is good to hear that you can choose to not donate.
We don't really do funerals with open caskets in Sweden, so we don't have to worry about the eye thing.
It's law in England now that everyone is considered an organ donor unless you specifically opt out.
Not sure if it's come into force yet but I think it's a great idea. I already was a donor though.
yes
shareI have received a donor kidney, and have much gratitude to everyone who does this. And I did sign up to be a donor myself before getting sick.
shareA couple of years ago I wanted to donate blood marrow, but unfortunately there is an age limit to be a donor and at that time I was very close to the limit and they said "no thanks."
I do donate blood - mine is rare - A negative, so they are very happy to get it.
