Do as your told, keep your distance & take our vaccine !

Are your looking forward to taking the new vaccine ?

Well Kamala isn't. Are you?

reply

No

reply

Well there you go then.

Both you and Kamala agree on something.

Enjoy the next 4 years. The days are going to drag.

reply

You bet I am - as soon as it's approved.

I'm tired of this Covid crap.

reply

Same. Give me and everyone a vaccine so Covid can be a memory. Were so many people paranoid when a smallpox vaccine came out?

reply

Smallpox wasn't bio-engineered in a Chinese laboratory.

reply

Iā€™m happy to take a vaccine.

reply

I hope they put it in a sugar cube. I get very tense when it comes to needles.

reply

I've had so many bloody injections over the years that I'm ok with it.

reply

I almost wish this were true for myself. I know it's not that big of a deal, but I always cringe even at the thought. Wish it weren't the case.

What i'm getting from that is:
"I'm a paranoid nutball who thinks the government is trying to either kill me or take over my mind, the help of all the other illuminati cronies who control all the big companies.
I for one wont be drinking the kool aid ,because the virus isnt real so im going to party like its 1999 "
(and end up spreading it around and being a huge part of the problem, rather than pulling together as a species and sorting it out)
Amirite?

check. i'll take it, and take it again, when my immunity wanes. and be grateful FOR it.

the nominations for the darwin awards in the coming year or two are going to be vast

picture a fellow, gasping for his last breaths, thinking to himself:
now WHY didn't i take the goddam vaccine!!!!!!

reply

Iā€™ll take it for sure. Iā€™m listening to scientist and doctors, not politicians. I have parents in their 70ā€™s who I love so I wear a mask and social distance when Iā€™m in public.

reply

Whatā€™s so special about having a party (a noun, by the way, NOT a verb) in 1999? The third millennium began in 2001.

Prince was an idiot, and now heā€™s dead.

reply

Sinead O'Connor is an idiot and she's still alive.

reply

well , it was just an example of a year the world was not in a pandemic , other years are available :)

reply

Seems so strange that some people want to denounce mainstream media as full of agenda and lies, and want to replace it with hysteria and their own lies. Sure we should be vigilant about our government and media, but that people are believing these extremes is stunning.

" Moment prease ! " - Harry Hoo

Honourable gentleman shall notice that COVID-19 has a large number of most unusual symptoms and characteristics, is highly contagious and people who are infected by it lose their immunity to it in a matter of months.

First conclusion: It is a bio-weapon. But nobody apart from one Chinese scientist who escaped from China is saying so.

Second conclusion: In light of conclusion one how much faith can be placed in a rushed through vaccine ?

Third conclusion: Given how much our Governments are keeping hidden can they be trusted not to be lying again?

reply

All goverments lie. That's what governments do.

reply

Of course they do. So much so that it makes you wonder about the sincerity of people who claim to have faith in them.

reply

People are oblivious, happily naive.

reply

The useful idiots are but there are many who knowingly Play The Game.

reply

You're right. People are easy to buy. Give someone some ModCons, an expense account, they will throw their mum under a bus.

reply

I wish someone had thrown my mother under a bus.

reply

Before or after she had you?

reply

Before she had any of us.

reply

That's dark. I like it.

reply

I won't take it. But I won't take the normal flu jab either. Just reading the possible side effects freaks me, way worse then getting a bit sick. Plus I'm a paranoid parrot, a global jab in the arm for everyone almost simultaneously, I've seen too many movies to fall for that one.

reply

Same. I rather wear a mask and just avoid people in general. The effective rate is supposed to be around 50% anyway which might give people a false sense of security.

I don't know if this is going away anytime soon. Maybe it's here for years?

reply

I'd say it will be here forever. It's just another flu. Granted it is a bit worse. But closing down and hoping for vaccines is short sited, reactionary. Making mountains out of molehills.

reply

I started getting my flu shots when I started having chemo treatments. I don't know if they have helped, but I haven't been sick the last couple of years.

I probably will take the vaccine, but I might not take it right away.

reply

I have no problemo with people taking the vaccine, I know my prejudices are probably unfounded, but nevertheless they are still there. Whatever works. Sorry to hear about the cancer though, best of luck to ya, hope you stay in remission.

reply

It's not cancer, but MS, and chemo works for it as well.

I was never really a flu shot person, but when they start chemically wiping out your immune system I think a little help can't hurt. I do have some fears about a new vaccine, but I do also trust my team of doctors. They aren't really pill pushers at all, so that's a good thing.

reply

News to me, I didn't know chemo helped slow down MS. Immune systems are a fickle mistress. I'm glad you have doctors you can trust.

reply

Not sure we will keep them. Jason Kenney is being really effective at driving doctors away from Alberta right now.

reply

Totally over my head. Jason Kenney. Alberta? That's Canada right?

reply

Sorry, I thought you were Canadian.

reply

Nah I'm an Aussie. Just wondering, what made you think I was Canadian?

reply

I'm not sure. I do apologise.

reply

Stuff your sorrys in a sack. No need to apologize. I've been called worse things than Canadian!

reply

I'm not sorry for calling you Canadian, I've just had conversations with you and I obviously wasn't paying attention. I don't like it when I do that. Hahaha

reply

Hey all good. I'm Australian, but I identify as Canadian.

reply

reply
