Should prostitution be legal in all 50 US states?

I think it's really silly that except in certain counties of Nevada, prostitution is illegal.

Who is it hurting?

I think it's pretty much a victimless crime that should be regulated and taxed.

Prostitutes should be mandated to get licenses from their sate if they want to do it, and their earnings should be legitimately counted and taxed like all other occupation wages.

What do you think? Should it be legal in all 50 states? Could you support it being legal in all 50 states?

Would you encourage it to become legal in all 50 states?

reply

Yes, I've always been for legalized prostitution as long as voters have a say and each individual state can decide. Like abortion, I don't think the federal government should be involved.

reply

Why, so your woman can have benefits, old age pension and apply for workers comp, if she were injured on the job? Lol, taken too big of one.

reply

How is it handled in Nevada? Perhaps there lies the answers to your questions.

reply

I know it brings in enough revenue along with the casinos so regular Nevada residents don't pay income taxes. Also it's not legal in the entire state. It's left to localities to decide.

reply

Do you really think that only women are prostitutes? Lol

reply

I think prostitution should be legal in my country.

reply

Really, listening to all of you talk about how your for legalizing prostitution, you make it sound as if sex is work. Lol, I thought sex was supposed to be about pleasure. Generally speaking, work usually sucks. Like a plumber, now that's work and they're paid well because of all the shit they work with that comes in different forms.

reply

For some people sex is work. I think for sex workers sucking is work, so yeah, their work could suck.

reply

If sex is work worthy of pay, then there's many women who owe me lots of $$$ then. The ones I can't find, then I'll have to take them to collections. When I explain my case I'll tell them someone of MC chat who goes by the name "sslssg" considers sex as pay worthy work.

reply

Well, if that's how you are taking what I am saying then I do feel sorry for those women who you think owe you money.

It's like going to a restaurant, or a hairstylist and not wanting to pay because you can do that service for yourself at home. People make use of prostitutes for a plethora of reasons, but they are entering a contract in which they pay for a service and then receive that service. If you don't understand that, I don't know what else to say to you.

reply

CAREFUL WITH THAT GUY...HE IS REALLY GOOD AT SEX.

reply

Oh yeah, and you come across as so sexy Kowalski. I'll save myself for you 😚

reply

Also a complete twat

Aee you kidding me? Women are whores by nature anyway, they really don't need any encouraging

reply

Certainly, an immature twat!

reply

LOL hes rocked women's worlds with all 3 inches

reply

Yes absolutely, 3" of girth. I've always gotten lots of compliments on my endowment, but especially the girth lol.

reply

cringe

reply

a woman owes you for giving them all 3 inches? I doubt it..

ive also given my lady friend back massages for free. I guess no one should ever be a back masseuse and paid for it by that logic. derp derp

reply

"Plumber" -- is that a euphemism? I'm afraid to look on urbandictionary these days because of all the kids graffiti-ing it.

reply

Absolutely.

I can think of at least five or six reasons why prostitution should be legal. I can't think of a single reason it should be illegal.

reply

Oh yeah sure, not a single reason why it shouldn't be illegal. Is that really a career path you would like to see your daughter, sister or other relative to choose? That may be the last straw, as many practically have no qualms with making whores of themselves as it is, now you want to say "be a prostitute".

reply

Clearly not, but neither is porn and I'm not advocating for that to be banned either. Not everything that you look down on morally needs to be legally prohibited.

reply

I agree. But porn is just another form of prostitution. One I am a fan of. At least with porn it's in a controlled legal environment, where the performers are regularly tested. So it should be somewhat safe. So why not just leave well enough alone, and let them do porn rather than work in brothels and so on?

reply

Eh, the decision is their's to make, not mine

reply

when you have no arguement..... do what this guy does..

reply

It should only be legalized in 49 states, so that the profession retains its mystique.

reply

What’s your guess as to what state that would be, Mississippi or Wisconsin?

reply

I was thinking of making it illegal in Nevada.

reply

Lol why? That’s the only place it’s been legal, it’s already a well established market.

reply

Spread the wealth.

reply

Whore houses are legal in Nevada.

reply

Just imagine if there were 69 states lol. That would be perfect, that lucky number "69".

reply

Considering the amount of crime, drugs and disease involved in prostitution as a black market industry I’d say it’s pretty idiotic that it is still illegal. Like abortion and the war on drugs, just a relic of the Bible thumping roots of this country that we can’t seem to get past. Don’t get me wrong, certain schedule 1 drugs that pose a danger to society should certainly be illegal, but the fact that pot is still illegal in most states and people’s lives have been ruined is beyond ridiculous.

reply

You're right about the black market elements. Take the crime world out of it. Abortion however, no matter how you spin it, is murder and you don't have to be of faith to know that.

reply

Aee you kidding me? Women are whores by nature anyway, they really don't need any encouraging.

reply

Lol yeah I bet you are just beating them away 😂

reply

I literally had to run away from a prostitute at one time. She wouldn't leave me alone. She said she wanted to slide all the way down my pole no matter what.

reply

That's a nasty statement to make oceanguy

Don't you have a mom, wife, sister or daughter?

Wouldn't you give a man hell for saying that about your family?

reply

Yes I do have a mother and sisters. But I'm speaking off some of my own experiences and what I've heard from many others. The majority of women are obsessed with materialistic shit. They seek out security, which in their eyes is a mans income, and if he has certain possessions like a house and car and so on. With prostitution it's pretty much the same logic, where women either want money or look for ways to save their own by panning costs off on others, in this case men. It's just an unfortunate reality.

reply

I hope your mom and sisters don't ever see how you really feel and good luck finding a woman you respect and love with that attitude man

reply

Well my family knows how I feel. I know I'm not the only Male who feels this way. It seems many men are rather apathetic now towards women because so many of them feel so entitled. Yeah, like the whole world should revolve around them. Many of them especially more matured ones like over 25, seem to just take pride in tearing men apart. And by the way I have a gf I've been seeing now for almost 3 years that I love. I've even been thinking of proposing to her. She's not from Canada. That's how I thought it would have to play out, as many Canadian women I find are as I described. Funny how you and others jump to negative conclusions rather fast without knowing for sure. I wish I didn't feel so negatively towards women like I do, but it is what it is.

reply

That's extreme but you do you...just avoid the women in my life👍

reply

Um, it was legal when this country first sprung its "roots."

The forces that lined up against it are less religious than you might think. There was a lot of money from the paper industry that helped move it along. Some of it was also passed along by propaganda that touched on religion, sure, but it wasn't the ultimate cause. Just like today, we had people pushing an agenda that was tied into the emotions of the populous to spur them into action.

reply

Yes.

I've been to Nevada a few times and I've been to Amsterdam six times and I can tell you it's a good idea to legalize as much as you can. We have enough laws to punish the people.

Black market always attracts seedy situations. The woman in the Netherlands are tested. Their earnings are taxed so all of the citizens benefit. it's not only safe for the women but also for the men especially the tourists, which is a big industry over there as is marijuana. it's a moot point now because we're in a pandemic but the US would be smart to have coffee shops all over the US not only to bring a few tourists in but interstate tourism as well as business in general because the market is obviously there if you look at all the billions that have been made from just a few states that have legalized marijuana.

reply

I think prostitution should be legal wherever porn is legal. If prostitution is illegal, porn should be too.

reply

Making porn or prostitution illegal for "moral" reasons is rather silly and naive.

reply

That doesn't have anything to do with my post.

reply

We have a few whore houses here in Nevada. I think in Lincoln county there are two. Only 40 miles from Las Vegas.
