Systemic racism's greatest example

63% of abortion clinics are in black/Latino neighbourhoods in America.

They are being targeted for population control.

Depends how you look at. People argue that non-white people are poorer and cite stats of income between different races to prove their point. They claim the whities receive the most income. If someone were to believe the stats are correct, it's possible they would approve of abortion clinics being in majority non-white areas in fear that they don't make enough money to take care of a child.

Personally, I don't like looking at people who aren't white as being poorer. It sounds kind of racist to me to assume that their skin colour automatically makes them lower class.

Politics.

63% isn't a massive majority is it? Why can't the world just be 50% all the time regardless of necessity!

Anyway, I was curious about this number and found the following disputes...

KEY FINDINGS
About six in 10 abortion providers are located in neighborhoods where more than half of residents are white.
Fewer than one in 10 abortion providers are located in neighborhoods where more than half of residents are black.
Some 13% of abortion providers are located in neighborhoods where more than half of residents are Hispanic

Antiabortion activists often claim that most abortion clinics are located in predominantly Black or Hispanic neighborhoods. However, this claim—offered as supposed proof that abortion providers “target” minority women—is false.

About six in 10 abortion providers are located in neighborhoods where more than half of residents are White.

Fewer than one in 10 abortion providers are located in neighborhoods where more than half of residents are Black.

Some 13% of abortion providers are located in neighborhoods where more than half of residents are Hispanic.

You mean the SJW's were lying ? Just making stuff up to suit their agenda, again !?

It's not the sjws that made up the fact that abortion clinics are in minority neighbourhoods. SJWs argue that low income women have a difficult time getting abortions because clinics aren't in their neighbourhoods. They usually have to travel quite a distance and sometimes have to spend the night which makes them cost prohibitive. It's not just abortions, but women's health clinics. Which makes it difficult to get birth control as well.

Perhaps their neighborhoods aren't safe. In general, for any business, the closer to your clients, the better... as long as it's safe. Business fly from low safety areas.

But that's anybody's fault but the people in those neighborhoods.

This is an example:
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/san-frans-new-normal-third-walgreens-year-closing-due-rampant-shoplifting

The move to close the Walgreens at Van Ness and Eddy came after "months of seeing its shelves repeatedly cleaned out by brazen shoplifters", according to the SF Chronicle. The location served "many older people" who lived in the area. [...] The customer, who lives a block away, said: “I feel sorry for the clerks, they are regularly being verbally assaulted. The clerks say there is nothing they can do. They say Walgreens’ policy is to not get involved. They don’t want anyone getting injured or getting sued, so the guys just keep coming in and taking whatever they want.”

When the Chronicle went to visit the store, they noticed "aisle after aisle of near empty shelves" and said that beauty products seemed to be a favored target. While the Chronicle was in the store, a man with a mask on walked in, emptied two shelves into a bag and walked out the door.

When they asked a clerk where all the products were, the clerk responded: “Go ask the people in the alleys, they have it all.”

Walgreen corporate commented: “Organized retail crime in San Francisco has increased the challenge for all retail, and Walgreens is not immune to that.”

This location is the third Walgreens to close in the city over the past year.

Even if we accept that percentage as true (and it could or could not be true), what's the problem?

The percentage of abortion clinics in those neighborhoods does not match percentage of population, but the percentage of demand.

If Black/Latinos are more sexually promiscuous and/or use condoms less frequently, which seems likely, it makes sense that they have a higher demand of abortion services. That would cause a higher number of abortion clinics in those neighborhoods.

It's the same problem that happens with wokes complaining about police chasing more Blacks and Latinos. Again, how much they chase those groups shouldn't match the percentage of population they represent but the percentage of crime they're responsible.

That's how it works in my town. Once at Dunkin Donuts, I overheard a couple of police officers talking, and I heard a report come over their walkie that a nearby gas station was robbed by an unknown black male suspect who was reported to be fleeing in the direction we were. As the cops started heading out the door, one of them checked out his phone and reached out to stop the other officer. He said, "Hold on, we've already reached our limit for harassing black people this month. But I see that we have population that is 1% Asian, and I'm not seeing any Asian arrests for over 3 years. Let's go find one of them."

See I thought it was those large windows they put on public transport buses to shame it's riders for not owning a car. Or the CIA distribution of crack in the inner city.

"63% of abortion clinics are in black/Latino neighbourhoods in America."

That doesn't prove that black/latine women are their biggest customers.
