As a woman I can say that I like horses/ponies. I also work at a place that has horses, ponies, cows, pigs, sheep, and goats. My favourite to visit are the goats and the horses as they seem intelligent and like getting attention. I also really like sharks. If I could have a pet elephant I would.

Mind you in ' Snow White and the Huntsman ' there was a scene where they stuck Kristen Stewart on top of a huge beast of a horse and you could see in her face and body language that she was quite frightened. So not all girls like horses.
Fairy tales feature a lot of horses and horse-like unicorns, etc.

shareI had a quarter horse for several years and everyone loved it until it threw my mom and she was in the hospital with stitches and broken ribs. No one would ride him after that. They are beautiful and powerful animals.
