I went to the cinema last night for the first time in 6 months.

Only 4 people sat in there. Afterwards, walking through the deserted Leisure Complex (BH2, ‘Sunny’ Bournemouth https://www.bournemouth.co.uk/things-to-do/bh2-leisure-complex-p2551893), it felt like something out of 28 Days Later.

I saw New Mutants - very disappointing.

I don’t know, my friend paid, lol. We’re going to see Tenet next week, I’ll be paying, so I’ll let you know then.

I described my visit to my library several days ago in a very similar manner to a friend. I was there to pick up some movies for the first time since early spring. Besides a couple of staff members, I was the only patron there until I left and we were wearing masks. It felt just as surreal and eerie as the earliest days of the pandemic, when stores were devoid of people and shelves were bare in aisle after aisle.

Yep! Very unsettling.

I've been to the theatre twice since they reopened.

I saw Empire Strikes Back and Tenet in the same day. The theatre was dead. I was one of maybe 6 people in the whole theatre.

I then saw Back to the Future a few days later and there was about 5 people there.

I had a great time though. I'm was just glad to be able to see a film in a theatre again.

Absolutely! 👍🍿

I went to see Tenet at the IMAX on Wednesday and there was just me and only one other person in the audience. It was safer than going to work.

Self isolating in a cinema. It sounds crazy, but it might just work 🤔
