What foods do you absolutely hate?

I can't stand pineapple and coconut. Vile things. Basically anything Hawaiian, I dislike.

reply

Any kind of meat. I'm a vegan.

reply

Do you like dairy, but just choose not to eat it?

reply

Soylent Green, every bloody Tuesday! 🤮

reply

I agree with the people, who simply can't stand any of these:

Coconut
Liver
Onions
Fish

Furthermore, I simply can't stand meat sauce or bolognese.
I'm just fine with most hamburgers and the occasional meatballs, but I can't stand it when the beef is in a sauce.

And yeah, I don't really care for some fruits. Like melon and mango.

And I also dislike oatmeal porridge and licorice and anything that's too spicy.

To sum it up, I sure am a picky eater. But I was even worse as a kid.

reply

So, I take it you hate spaghetti? Lasagna? That's nuts! I love those.

reply

Actually, I do like spaghetti.
But I eat it with pork, not beef.
Carbonara is pretty much as well-known as bolognese, when it comes to spaghetti dishes.
But it's true that I don't like lasagna, except I managed to eat it and like it once in Venice.
That was fifteen years ago now though.
And I have never dared to try it again since then, outside Italy.

beets
sweet potatoes
liver
corn tortillas
tapioca
canned pineapple

You are a master of funny clips.

Comes from a misspent lifetime of watching too much tv

Cooked Carrots. I have to pick them out of everything, soups, etc.

reply

How about broccoli? 🥦

reply

I love all vegetables, its just the sweetness of carrots that I don't like. Veggies should not be sweet!

reply

im like that too. but salt, pepper and butter can rescue carrots & peas for me. by themselves, un-spiced, not good.

reply

I agree here. I like carrots raw, but not cooked. Cooking ruins the flavor and turns them mushy.

reply

We are food twins..I can eat carrots raw but not cooked.

reply

They're only mushy if you over cook them.

reply

Olives

They taste so nasty.

reply

On its own, yes I agree. But they taste great in conjunction with something such as pizza or sandwich.

reply

I have tried it with pizza, cheese ect. I don't like it with anything lol ..

reply

You know what's nasty? Achoives!

reply

I forgot to add olives to my list. Olive oil is ok in cooking and dressings but olives themselves? Yucch

reply

You guys hate all the best stuff..Olive and cheese plate with wine..is my happy place.

reply

I just had some extra sharp NY cheddar and Carr's crackers. Delicious.

reply

Hmmmmmm. The more aged the cheddar, the better tasting it is. Yum. Like a fine wine.

reply

The best I've had is at a local downtown Reno restaurant that specializes in small plates. It's a Vermont white cheddar. I didn't inquire about age but it is a perfect level of sharpness (at least for my taste). I'd say one difference between NY and Vermont is NY is a bit softer--doesn't get "crumbly" like a sharp Vermont does.

reply

My faincée eats them on their own, as a snack. I also developed a liking for it.

reply

Can't really think of a food I don't like, but don't get vinegar near me. Vile nasty stuff imo.

reply

I like oil and vinegar on an Italian sub. Don't know what else it is good for other than making pickles.

reply

vinegar on battered cod (fish n chips) is good.

reply

Yes, malt vinegar. I like it on fish and chips as well.

reply

Balsamic vinegar is the one I loathe.

reply

I hate undercooked and runny eggs. They have to be cooked all the way through before I can eat eggs.
