The Sound of Music (1965) vs The Blues Brothers (1980)
Which is better?
shareI don't really think this is a fair comparison. Other than having music in them, they are such different movies.
shareAlthough very different films, ironically they both have Nazi's and involve the main characters being on the run. And both have nuns.
Go figure.

Those two links are both to The Sound of Music (1965).

Many years later, a much older Cab Calloway sang that song on PBS before a huge outdoor crowd at the USA Independence Day concert. While there were much better known acts that preceded him, he electrified that crowd like no other performer.
Blues Brothers
shareBB has better music, is funnier, and has the two greatest car chases (in one movie) in the history of movie making.
