Becuase people who exhibit "Karen" like behavior are a neusense to the world. They're literally selfish and a burden, so no one likes them .
But minorities such as blacks and Latinos, aren't a neusense, many are very good and caring people. They're just being targeted against as some folks feel superior to them.
Well, "Karen" is a derogatory term that applies to low class/low education white middle aged females.
If we stick to the facts, this group has an much lower (and I mean much lower) criminality index than blacks. If "Karens" are a burden, what are blacks, then?
People referred to as "Karens" do behave like low-class uneducated brats. It doesn't need to be a white woman, anyone from any race can exhibit that behavior.
Racist folks judge minorities people by their color or etnicity. "Karens" however are judged by their actions and behavior. See the difference?
Well, we can equally say that "Nigger" refers to blacks that behave like savages and that are not far from how their ancestors behaved in Africa. Nobody in his right mind would call Thomas Sewell a "nigger", for example. Of course, it can be used as an insult targeting blacks, even though the target does behave in a civilized way, but so can be used "Karen" as an insult targeting (probably Republican) white middle aged women.

But you check South Africa, where they're the majority. And there whites are explicitly targeted because of their skin color. When blacks use to assault a farm, one of the traditions there if to boil whites alive.
Are you talking about pre or post Apartheid South Africa? In any case it seems an odd example to highlight the inherent racist nature of black people, as I assume you are doing here. 1948-1990 was no real picnic for black South Africans, from what I hear.
For what it's worth though, I think Karen is a stupid insult and it's one I wouldn't use myself. Then again I don't use the N word either. Why make anyone feel bad on the basis of the way they were born? Weak, low blows, not interested in them.

The apartheid meant that blacks were segregated and had different areas and services than whites, and that's it, but the services they had were still much better than the ones in other African countries. They were even better than the ones every South African has nowadays.
During the apartheid, blacks migrated from other African countries towards South Africa. If you wanna check reality, check migration patterns. Whites in modern South Africa are targeted, and the migration pattern agrees: they're migrating from South Africa to other countries.
