I'm 6'2" and it's always been a good thing in life. I don't like short women though, specifically those who are 5'3" or less. I don't like feeling like a freak of nature compared to them.
IM 6'6"...MADE OF MEAT AND MUSCLE...I CANT HELP BUT WONDER ABOUT ALL THE SHORT MARSHMALLOW MEN I SEE RUNNING ABOUT...MUST BE SAD...ONLY DOWNSIDE I CAN SEE IS IF I LIVE LONG ENOUGH I PROBABLY NEED SOME PHIL JACKSON STYLE HIP REPLACEMENTS IN A FEW DECADES.
6'3" here. Just short enough that I don't have to go to a big-and-tall shop. My brother and father are both taller than me, and have trouble finding standard sizes that fit well. About the only thing "normal" that I can't do comfortably is fit into an airline seat. My knees touch the back of the seat in front of me, and I seem to always end up behind someone who wants to recline for the entire flight. I try to get aisle seats just so I can swing my knees around and give myself a little extra room.
On the whole, I like it. People associate height with authority and leadership, and that's useful sometimes. And although I'm no street fighter, there have been a few times when the height has worked to my advantage; e.g., some drunk in a bar is looking to pick a fight, sees that I'm 6'3" and 200+ pounds, and looks for easier prey.
I'm 6'2", I like it. However when I was younger, I sometimes complained about being a bit on the tall side. But now I wonder how I could have complained lol.
