Really old actors

I feel like , with the (recent) passing of Ian Holm, we're on the cusp of bidding farewell to more than a few truly amazing icons. Sean Connery, Anthony Hopkins ... Who else?

Oh... That Christian whackadoodle.

reply

Show me on the doll, where God hurt you.. ;)

reply

You have nothing better to do than stalk my posts you wanker? For clarification( because my sarcasm clearly evaded you) Kirk Cameron is a wackadoo with or without Jesus.

reply

You have several threads on the main page, dim-wit. Sorry for reading them.

I was getting ready to reply to the dubbing one, too but I guess I better not....

reply

Again! Do you completely lack the ability to perceive sarcasm?? I'd love to hear your thoughts on dubbing vs. captions.

reply

I guess you didn't catch my sarcasm, either. Lol.

I prefer subtitles 99% of the time, especially with Asian movies. The worst dubbing I have ever experienced was in I Saw The Devil. The voices didn't fit the characters whatsoever among other things.

I watched all of the Dark series on Netflix with subs and then I watched it again with people who wanted to see it dubbed and it was actually a decent dubbing job. I still preferred the subbed version, though.

I recently watched The Wandering Earth and Tidal Wave, both hilariously dubbed. So horrible. Guess I'm willing to tolerate it if it's a disaster type movie.

reply

The Wandering Earth, the best movie of all times!
Wait, is that sarcasm?
Who knows 😁

reply

51 & 49 are really old?

reply

Not who you want to die.

reply

Michael Caine, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman.

reply

I don't want to imagine a world without these three Gents

LOL😆

He really should take better care of himself!

reply

Henry Silva 91

reply

What an amazing, villainous career he's had!
138 projects and he's gone up against the likes of Burt Reynolds, Steven Seagal and Chuck Norris (which never ended well for his evil characters:)

reply

He really is very interesting. I’ve watched a lot of his filmography that available streaming and I’ve discovered all kinds of cool films.

reply

Hell yeah!
A great bad guy is the hallmark of a fun action flick and Silva could deliver👍

I don't care if Tom Cruise, Chuck Norris or Bruce Willis is the hero in the flick, if the bad guy stinks the movie is just no good

reply

“if the bad guy stinks the movie is just no good”

I agree with ya there. If you haven’t seen Italian Connection (1972) it’s worth checking out. Silva is a hit man and he’s ruthless as hell, slapping around ladies and I think he even shoots a kitten. Lol.

reply

I'll look out for it
