Guys, Now is your chance!!

To take contol of my life and make a decision for me!! I need to add a movie to my amazon.ca cart and it needs to be between 10 and 15$.

I like comedy/horrors, crazy shit, asian shit, gore stuff, plot twists, action, movie about drugs, war, psychedelic movies, and cute little romance (psych).

If someone recommends me a movie that is under 15$ on amazon.ca blu-ray or dvd, region 1 that I haven't seen and looks interesting I will buy it, watch it and review it. How about that?

You can also comment on the products that are actually in my cart:

Macabre
Zombieland 2
Puppet master 1 remastered

If y'all fail to find me a crazy movie I will resolve this with the film The Verdict which I would prefer to wait a little more to be frank.

list of movies I love: Requiem for a dream, Turbo kid, house of flying daggers, im a cyborg but thats okay, Mr Nobody, basketball diaries, fear and loathing in LA, biutiful, kids, Jacob'S ladder, spun, Y tu mama tambien, what we do in the shadows, harcore henry, wonderland, dead alive...

Y'all have until saturday. Now get at it, change a human's life!!

Checkout, Gravy (2015). An enjoyable little comedy horror from James Roday

reply

Great exemple of the type of movie I could enjoy, only it's 10$ over my limit.

Its in my wishlist now though.

Thank you

reply

Secondedđź‘Ť
It's a gross and funny movie

reply

I watched it, look out for my review on my weekly thread. THanks man!

reply

I liked Gravy. It was even better than Murder pArty. You might want to see The Mansion and or Sheitan.

How bout you, any other similar horror/comedies?

reply

Two shows that I thought were a lot of fun are, Blood Drive (James Roday directed a couple of episodes) and Stan Against Evil (Janet Varney and John C. Mcginley)

reply

Highway 61 - a weird little romance set in Thunder Bay (for the Canadian angle) that involves saving a soul that has been sold to satan.

reply

cool, but it's unbuyable

reply

Sorry, I didn’t check on that. It is definitely worth watching, specially for a Canadian.

reply

maybe it's on youtube...

reply

Yes, it's a good movie if you don't mind something a little weird.

Good Canadian cast

Here's a funny clip from it

That’s hilarious. I guess that’s the devil.

I'm still looking.. I narrowed the filters according to your requirements, and there was a TON of crap I'm still searching through..

I tried picking my favorite movie, and saw it was almost 100!

reply

Mr Deeds thats the 1936 movie right? Im not a huge fan of B/W but I added it to my wishlist...

reply

Ugh. I tried to one, and of course it's $50.00

But at least it ships to Canada

reply

dark gems are always expensive, it sucks...

Thanks for trying

Dont forget than im buying on amazon.ca

reply

I'm in Canada too .ca is my go to otherwise it's a life full of disappointment.

reply

If Peter Jackson's Meet the Feebles is on that list then I suspect you will like it.

It is a dark, gross parody of the Muppet Show in which you meet the heroine addict Nam vet lizard knife thrower, the shit eating reporter fly, the sex crazed star rabbit who might have AIDS, and the wholesome newcomer hedgehog. Some accents are inscrutable but it is very funny.

reply

I’m in. Why have I not seen this?

reply

The Nam flashbacks are fantastic. The whole movie is rude.

reply

Listen, we started watching it late last night. I can’t believe that came out in 1989! Everything else was so cheesy then. I’m all over this movie, fucking perfect. Will finish watching tonight.

reply

You are in for more treats then!

reply

it's a bout 30$ so I added it to my wishlist in case it drops

reply

on tubitv if you wanna watch it there.
haven't seen it in years, but i remember it being really fun.

Amazon didn’t have it, but you need to watch Boppin at the Glue Factory (2009) and Animals (2014)

Excision (2012)
Bellflower (2011)
Bully (2001)
Inherent Vice (2014)
The High Cost of Living (2010)

reply

Boppin at the Glue Factory (2009): Whoa! I just looked at the trailer and now I need to see this movie. You know I work in a senior home right? You know I have a junkie mentality right? I want to see this movie so bad. You got a copy? Where did you see it?

Animals trailer ooks dope!

At the moment, the movie I picked to buy is Excision for 11.99. Perfect.

Bellflower is now on my wishlist but it's almost 20$

Bully i bought this year but am yet to see.

Inherent vice I own and rate a desapointing 6/10

The high cost of living is on my list already but way way down

Seriously, thanks for your contribution, froggy or toadie?

reply

excision is pretty wild stuff. i like if, for whatever that's worth.

(it's also on tubi, if you don't mind just streaming it0.

reply

I had a hunch we had similar taste in flicks. Glue factory was on Netflix a few years back. The only place I could find the dvd was ebay. I don’t have a copy. I had no idea you worked at a senior home, but even more perfect. You’ll like it.
Animals I love. Kind of a more realistic version of requiem.
Perhaps I was a little off kilter when I watched Excision. My memory of it is foggy, but I know it had the weirdness factor I like and you asked for a crazy movie. I hope you enjoy it and think it’s worth the 11.99!
Bellflower is one of my favorites.
I figured you’d already seen Bully cause you had Kids listed. Bully is awesome. If you ever wanted to know what most of Florida is like, Bully is a great example.
I honestly didn’t like inherent vice that much either. I thought my choices were maybe too girly so I threw in a “boy movie”. Lol whatever, I’m sexist.
I love the high cost of living.
You’re very welcome. I don’t often meet folks with similar taste in movies. It was a fun task.
I’m always a lil of both.

reply

Cheers to both then!

Cheers bud
