I miss eating Prime Rib.

Back when me and my parents ate at the buffet, we were able to eat Prime Rib. It was delicious!

Man, I miss those days. Damn COVID....

You know, that's something you might be able to get as a takeout dinner. Prime rib isn't eaten hot out of the oven, it's cooked slowly, allowed to "rest", and carved piece by piece while kept warm, so that's one dinner that wouldn't suffer from the delivery time.

So if what you want is an actual serving of prime rib and not the experience of eating prime rib with loved ones, it might be accessible.

Hmm...that sounds like a reasonable suggestion. Thanks for the idea!

Some things survive the delivery process better than others. Pizza is fine, enchiladas with rice and beans on the side would be fine... fish and chips would be damp and disgusting by the time they got here.

Which is a pity, I want some fish and chips. Foo.

Ooh...Fish and Chips!

Had a 34oz Tomahawk steak tonight. Absolute bliss!!

Sounds delicious!

When I had that first bite, there may have been tears

Jesus, that's like half a cow.

A 68oz cow? What is this, a cow for ants?

reply

Hyperbole? What is this, a joke for non-morons?

The beef in Ireland is second to none. Honestly!! We had steak in The Old Homestead in NYC back in January before everything kicked off, it was delicious, but compared to Ireland? No contest

The beef from UK pastures is definitely levels above the corn fed stateside fare.

Now I feel hungry.
