“How’s that !? A two Carr collision, both with the same rego !”

When Josh Carr wearing jumper number nine for Port Adelaide, bumped his brother Matthew, wearing number nine for Fremantle. Rego means car registration.

"3-and-2. Sax waiting on deck, but the game right now is at the plate.

The best part of that call was Scully's silence after the home run...I think he didn't say a word for something like a minute.

A master who knows when silence is golden.

reply

Yep, I agree....the jack buck radio call was good, But I’m from la and grew up on Scully so I’m biased....

Even a Reds fan can appreciate the incredible skill of Mr. Scully.

When the Reds played the Dodgers I DVR'd the late games, if I had a choice of announcers, I'd always go with Scully.

Scully is one of the best, but even after living in L.A for some years as well as listening to broadcasters for the Cubs, Indians, Tigers, and Pirates, I still think the Reds had the best with Marty Brennaman.

I love his signature "And This One Belongs to the Reds" when the Reds win.

I relistened to Dunns Walk Off GS against Cleveland from 06 and it still gives me goosebumps.
