I just got my 2nd haircut from a girl I like. Not sure if she's single but she said something that kind of perturbed me.

She was asking what was good to watch on Prime and I said 'I liked the Purge series, if you're into that stuff.'

She said she was and enjoyed the movies. Then she said something that was just weird.

She said 'It kind of makes sense to have the purge, to allow that to be legal once a year.'

What?

She tried to back peddle a bit by saying 'for america' and 'they'll probably have it one day the way they're going', but those are all secondary things. She thinks that murder should be legal!

Maybe she was just agreeing with you (and then overdid it with "It kind of makes sense") cos she's into you!
then again , like you say , she might really think 'purge ok ' and cut your throat in your sleep for shits and giggles ...

Its an absolutely retarded concept for a movie (let alone real life) and a transparent plot device to show people doing violence.
The fact its triggered a few sequels and a tv series makes me weep for humanity.

At least that would be trying too hard to show interest... some people try too hard to come up with excuses to subtly reject people. It would be just so much easier to simply say "sorry, I'm not interested" than ignoring texts and make up lame excuses to not go out.

I don’t think the girl did either. The purge isn’t just about killing. Anything is legal that day. Stealing, arson, rape...you name it.

Did you ever see "Don't tell mom the babysitter's dead"? The old hag babysitter in that movie told the kid "television rots your brains"! You and her I think both watch too much tv lol.
