StoneKeeper's Summer Movie Guessing Game: I Recommend THIS Movie #1151 That was Then, This is Now Winner Vastuntitled

I have a movie in mind and you have to guess which one it is. For each movie you guess, I will give a hint that connects your guess with the movie I have in mind.

For each guess, a connection is posted. Example of connections: Actor, length, genre, aspect ratio, language, country, year, director, actor, writer in common, rating, number of votes, nominations. It can even be something like: both movies involve Cabbage Patch Kids. Also, you can use Metascore color or rating, Rotten Tomatoes score, any award wins or nominations in common, same number of words in the title, plot keywords. Note: "Plot" in the IMDB advanced search links to "Plot Summary" on the film's page. "Keyword" in the advanced search links to "Plot Keyword" on the film's page.

- The winner can either start a new game or say "pass". In case of a pass, the OP gets to start another one.
- After 12 hints and 13 guesses, the point goes to the OP and he/she gets to start another one.
- Movie must have at least 3500 IMDB votes. Otherwise, add a bonus hint.
- Maximum 2 guesses per player per hint.
- Can't edit a guess once posted. Delete ONLY
- Post one Hint at a time.

You'd be surprised. Most of the past players picked older movies. There's a lot missing from the fun 80s-90s movies.

If you copy and paste the past games list to an Excel file, you can then sort it alphabetically. But in a document, it's just as easy to copy & paste a specific title into the find/Search box, to see it it's been used.

You use safari on the iPad I take it, TPB, you can search using the ‘Find on page’ option, found under the share button, works great...

I use a chromebook and just copied and pasted it into the docs area. Then at the top you can search by keyword.

No no that's fine. And I know what you mean, sometimes as a host you get guesses that have so little in common with the movie you have in mind that you have to really stretch to find something you can use lol. I've been there.

Your doing good my man.
One thing I do when I struggle to find a hint, I look through the plot keywords and try to find one in common. The go to since a long time for us is the “bare chested male” keyword. Hehe
