The two biggest lies about dating - “Girls just want a nice guy” and “girls LOVE older guys!”

Total bullshit

Why do you post all your laments about women on a movie site? It's not going to help one bit.

reply

Would be funny if this guy was really a 12 year old kid and for 2 years we’ve all just been giving him bad advice.

reply

lol

I'm wondering why I unblocked the guy.

reply

😆funny and possibly tragic

Damn...there’s a thought, TPB

reply

You continue to embarrass yourself with these trite complaints.

reply

Huh

reply

Well some do want a nice guy. But than they like to trample all over that guy. Truth is the older you get and older the woman you date it gets less about love and more about WHAT CAN THIS PERSON OFFER ME IN STABILITY INTO MY OLD AGE AND BANK ACCOUNT. Sad but true in most cases. So have a decent amount of cash in the bank. Make it known and you will pretty much get any single woman you set your sights on...lol..

WHAT CAN THIS PERSON OFFER ME IN STABILITY INTO MY OLD AGE AND BANK ACCOUNT.

And this, for e is a problem. Not only it is shallow, that way you might simply miss the right person because he/she doesn't fit a criteria which is barely defines a person. In a real companionship, you wor together to reach goals and money is something that you mae with time. However, if you choose a person because of his ban account and he/she turns out to be completely wrong for you, you're in for an unhappy life. I say this because I've seen it happen.

And then there's this little part:

So have a decent amount of cash in the bank. Make it known and you will pretty much get any single woman you set your sights on...lol..

Not always.... actually, most of the time you need to have some charisma and potential as well. Okay sure it certainly helps and it can even be enough, but it's not always all that matters.

Just an unrelated question: Roughly what percentage of your posts are replies to subjects someone else started? Again, not your posts or replies to those who replied to yours, only those topics that someone else originated. How much do you participate in non-MovieBuff threads?

0%

He rarely gives others the attention he so desperately craves. To him, this place is not "MovieChat.org" but rather "MovieBuff224.org" with the same topics in endless rotation, with little interest in anything or anyone else.

reply

I was bored one day and looked at his posting history and he has never contributed to someone else’s thread. I wonder if he even bothers to read them?

reply

I did the same when it dawned on me that I never see him any place but in his own thread.

I'm sure he skims others but his MO is to stir things up with the same posts that rile up some, then sit back and wait for the deluge of responses. His other is to ask some navel-gazing questions without any real interest in any advice or answers given.

reply

I still can’t decide if he genuinely has no self awareness or whether he is the most intelligent troll of all time, lol.

reply

It’s funny how anything posted by moviebuff easily gets over 100 replies and legitimate movie topics only get a fraction of that.

I'm pretty sure this is MovieBuff when getting another reply to his thread!:

I can honestly say I’ve always tried to be the good guy and not the type who just wanted to get lucky and I have been alone the vast majority of my adult life. I think the attraction to older guys is mostly a money thing.

Jesus H Christ!
