Why is it some people can't talk without spitting?

I've known a few people who have this gross quirk. It's so disgusting when people talk and frequently you see saliva fly from their mouths.

Maybe I want saliva coming my way, did you ever think that?

They're actually passive aggressive spitters.

They talk with a lisp, or they're standing too close to each other. Idk
