The Summer of 69 is number one from Bryan Adams from one of our local radio stations

I only like 2 songs out of the top ten, and I'm so sick of hearing them that I'm not even sure I like them anymore.

What an interesting list ! Thank you for sharing

My favorite. https://youtu.be/dGR65RWwzg8

The nostalgia.

So there are five Neil Young songs on this list (I'm including CSN&Y's Helpless) and After the Gold Rush isn't one of them.
Sorry, but my opinion of your local radio station has crashed and burned.

And the fact that there is only one song by The Band only reinforces this feeling.

the older songs tend to get dropped off these lists as time goes on. my guess for number one was sundown or old man.

another list

Thanks for posting this second list, hownos. I like this one more than the first.
That being said, in addition to some of the songs on each list, my personal Top 100 Canadian song list would have to include ...

Alanis Morissette - That I Would Be Good (from: Unplugged)
The Band - Acadian Driftwood
Bruce Cockburn - Tokyo; Fascist Architecture
Bryan Adams - I Thought I'd Seen Everything
Heart - These Dreams; Love Hurts; Dog and Butterfly
Joni Mitchell - Amelia; A Case of You; Chelsea Morning
Neil Young - After the Gold Rush; Only Love Can Break Your Heart; Don't Let It Bring You Down; Sugar Mountain; Like a Hurricane; Cortez the Killer; Pocahontas; Powderfinger; Needle and the Damage Done; Cowgirl In the Sand; Down By the River
The Stills-Young Band - Long May You Run
Tom Cochrane - Dreamer's Dream
Tom Cochrane & Red Rider - The Untouchable One

In case you couldn't guess from this list, before I became a Springsteen fan back in 1974, Neil Young was my favorite rocker.

i remember those guys.

Of the thousands of songs that are in my iTunes library, only one is in French. That one is ...
Zachary Richard: Cap Enrage (live) - https://youtu.be/tB4f8mmclaM

It should be noted that Zachary is not French Canadian, although his roots are from there.
He is an American from Lafayette, Louisiana, deep in the heart of Cajun country.

I have several French songs eventhough I don't speak French. French is just so beautiful to listen to.

Kind of a shit list. They felt the need to put 5 Bryan Adams songs on there but only one by Joni Mitchell.

And then not a single Bruce Cockburn song.
