Which film is your guilty pleasure?

you know the type, it's a bit shit tbh and you wouldn't really admit that you love it and yet everytime it's on TV you sit and watch it and enjoy it in secret all over again.

I think I'd have to say Speed is mine. It hasn't aged well and it is quite cheesey but I still love it.

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace

reply

OOH...JON CRYER AS LENNY LUTHOR...LOVE IT.

reply

I love the scene where Clark almost tripped up when meeting Lois. But didn't, cause he can fly. So much goofy fun.

reply

Sleeping with the enemy.

reply

That was a good one!
Did you ever see Enough (02) where Jennifer Lopez has to free herself from an abusive marriage and gears up to kick the snot out of her creepy stalker husband?
Oh, it's good stuff!!

reply

I haven´t actually. Is he anywhere near as creepy as Patrick Bergin?

reply

I'd say they are equal shitheels
J Lo gets buff and a big showdown ensues in Enough...it's pretty good👍

reply

Thanks for the recommendation!

reply

LMAO..THE JLO AND EVERYTHING IN THE APARTMENT VS BILLY CAMPBELL FIGHT...EPIC...MADE THE FLICK.

reply

Thats a good movie though.

reply

saturn 3 - extremely hammy kirk douglas performance, weirdly dubbed harvey keitel dialogue, deeply silly and non-compelling plot. but i have a very, very good time whenever i watch it.

reply

Farrah doesn't hurt either...never on cable though, need to order DVD.

reply

it was streaming on shoutfactorytv some time back, but i just checked and it appears it's no longer there. harrumph!

reply

EVENT HORIZON HAS THE SAME FEEL FOR ME,EXCEPT THEY FORGOT FARRAH...RUINED IT!

reply

i have never seen event horizon, even though it seems like the exact kind of thing i'd really enjoy.

reply

I'm not a high level movie watcher , so most of what I watch would be considered guilty pleasures by those here. I'll go with Diary of a Wimpy Kid 1--2--3..thats what I watch when I'm sick.

reply

IVE SEEN THE ORIGINAL THREE AT LEAST 20 TIMES EACH,AND THE FOURTH FILM MAYBE HALF A DOZEN TIMES...IVE READ ALL THE BOOKS TOO...THEYRE GENUINELY DECENT.THEY MAKE SENSE AS FEEL BETTER SICK DAY FLICKS.🙂

reply

Light of Day (1987) with Joan Jett, Michael J. Fox and Gena Rowlands

reply

7 Years in Tibet. Its pretty bad, but I always watch it when its on. If anyone is interested in the actual story, I suggest checking out the book instead.

reply

I'm not embarrassed to admit that my guilty pleasure is old Godzilla movies. I know they are all shitty but about half of them escape that in my book and occupy a unique zone of Dada-esque quality. I really enjoy about 2 out of 3 of them (the ones that take themselves seriously). And I don't like Transformers movies.

"The Wraith" (1986)

This movie is great. Love the characters, the setting, the action, and the soundtrack is fantastic.

My favorite thing about it is that the main bad guy never realizes how fucked he is.

reply

I JUST RECENTLY ADDED A COPY OF THE WRAITH TO MY COLLECTION...WHAT A WONDERFUL LITTLE FLICK...A CULT CLASSIC IF I EVER SAW ONE.

reply

Sherilyn Fenn never looked better!

reply

Amen to that!
