Worst/Unhealthiest meals?

I just gorged myself on cheese and crackers and like three candy bars. Oh, and a mountain dew.
That's it. The complete meal.

It's got me curious about other bad food choices people here might have made.

Woke up at 3 am, wanted something sweet but nothing much in the house. Had a big tablespoon of canned cake frosting. Worst midnight snack ever.

reply

MY GRANDMOTHER USED TO SMEAR CANNED FROSTING ON GRAHAM CRACKERS...SHE ATE THAT ALMOST EVERY DAY.

reply

Maybe it has some hidden health benefits. I just felt really sick afterwards. Stuff tastes good though.

reply

SHE DID DIE AT 89...OF COURSE SHE DIED SHITTING BLOOD...SO I DUNNO.

reply

You might want to get a test for diabetes just to be on the safe side. Feeling sick after a sugar hit can be an early warning sign.

reply

😧

reply

It's almost certainly nothing but diabetes is a bitch and if you can catch it before it develops it's well worth the blood test.

reply

I'm type 2 it sucks. If u saw me you'd say I'm fit and healthy (which I am except for that one thing).
I used to only look at calories and not carbs or sugar and would drink 3 sodas a day.

Fortunately I'm not insulin dependent but even just having to check my sugar twice a day is a pain.

Doctor says if I continue my good habits hopefully I'll be able to quit having to check my sugar.

Favoriteunhealthy meal is a Big Mac, Large Fries, Large Coke.

reply

That's how I feel right now. I enjoyed it at a the time, but am paying the price and regretting my decisions.

Keep a bar of good quality dark chocolate in the fridge. It's very rich and you can only eat a square or two of it before you've had enough. But it tastes great and it satisfies that sugar craving.

reply

Good idea.

reply

What is this "sugar craving"? does everyone else have that?
I'm more of of a savory guy , i only eat chocolate cos of laziness. I'd rather have a slice of toast.

reply

Yes it's a definite thing. I don't know if it's associated with a drop in blood sugar level but it is a craving for something sweet.

reply

That's exactly what I do, Quasi. No joke. Rum n Raisin, preferably.

reply

Rum n Raisin sounds good !

reply

It's delicious. And because it's got fruit, I consider it a meal. :)

reply

COUPLE DAYS AGO I ATE A CHERRY PIE AND TUB OF COOL WHIP FOR DINNER.

reply

I'm almost afraid to ask, but what is Kool Whip ?

reply

reply

Ah okay. It's like what margarine is to butter as far as whipped cream goes. Not for sale in Australia but you can buy that cream in a can stuff. Press the button and out it comes.

reply

Well that's your weekly allowance of sugar gone in one meal !

reply

Fried food. Chicken - yummy. Fish and chips - yummy, Fried pork chops - yummy.

reply

Botulism Primavera with cyanide sauce

reply

Sounds way worse than what I had.

reply

How about a pint of Haagen Dasz and a bottle of wine for dinner? Did it more than once, when I was young and stupid!

You can't get away with this shit at my current age.

reply

what were the candy bars??

reply

Nestle Crunch.

reply

I’ve mostly broke myself of eating meals like that a long time ago.
I do eat a large pizza once a week as a meal. Pepperoni, bacon, sausage, mushrooms and extra cheese.
