Head banger "music" can never be described in that way.

reply

Beauty is indeed in the eye of the beholder.

reply

Is that headbanger?

reply

Yes the sort of "music" that can give you a headache in no time.

reply

I take it you don't like heavy music. I'm a huge fan.

reply

Get that crazy drug music off 'ma lawn grrrr... Lighten up man

reply

That isn’t metal, it’s classic rock. If you think that’s headbanging music then you must be one of those grumps that yell at kids to get off your lawn.

reply

LOL! seems likely😃

reply

i really like it a lot. there are some terrific live versions of it floating about as well.

i can have a bit of a sniffy attitude when it comes to classic rock, but i've always had a soft spot for deep purple, and i definitely would rate this as one of their best, & definitely one of their most imaginative songs.

reply

I agree. I wondered how it isn’t mentioned as such with songs like Stairway to Heaven.

reply

It was sort of forgotten about once "Smoke on the Water" came out.

reply

I like Deep Purple and I like this song, but I like a lot of songs more than this.

reply

Understandable.

reply

if you love screaming

reply

If you loved screaming, you'd listen to "Frankie Teardrop" by Suicide. Also a great song.

hell yeah.

though, not to sound like too much of a contrarian, i actually love alan vega's 1980 solo album more than anything he recorded with suicide. it has this minimal rockabilly sound that i cannot get enough of.

reply

That's a great album. I love "Jukebox Babe." Alan Vega did a remake of it on Suicide's third studio album which is also very good. It was called "Jukebox Baby 96"

reply

i didn't know that - that 90s reunion record is one i've never heard. i'll see if i can track it down this afternoon. thanks.

my ears are bleeding

reply

I have the Made in Japan album. Great stuff

reply

They actually borrowed that keyboard riff from a song called “Bombay Calling” by It’s a Beautiful Day.

reply

That's a very nice instrumental piece.
