shareVery good!

Yes
shareI thought no slam dunks?
2 Oscar noms and 1 win, and 4 SAG noms and 1 win, should put him safely in "good" territory.
YES
I didn't think this was a slam dunk. He was pretty average in: White House Down, Miami Vice, Stealth, Breakin' All The Rules, Bait, Booty Call, Due Date, Annie and Robin Hood. Outside of Ray, and Collateral which came out the same year, I don't feel he got praise.
I have an actor for the next round that has an Oscar plus another nomination, but he gets laughed at.
Slam dunk for above the "bad" line. Yes, he's made some poor choices but he also has Dreamgirls and Just Mercy last year. Hard to call him "bad" if he's been average to award level.
shareI forgot about "Booty Call". I laughed all the way thru it.
shareNot at all. That guy doesn't even act, he has the same expression all the time.
shareI agree. He clenches his teeth all the time.
shareYeap.
There's actors who play the same role again and again. But they're good because they do it wonderfully. For example, Denzel Washington does always the same, but he does it amazingly. He's in that top league of actors like Wayne or Harrison Ford that always play the same role, but mate, what a role.
Jamie Foxx doesn't fucking act. He doesn't have neither some striking character. His only virtue is to be black, because in our times that seems to be some kind of moral, professional and racial virtue.
You need to watch in living color, then any given sunday, then ray, then collateral. All very different characters. Can’t even take you seriously.
share^kkk
shareAre you fucking kidding me?
That's what you call acting?

He's just exaggerating gestures as that was acting. A five years old would play it better.
I thought that was quite good...to each their own I guess
He does have screen presence and chops imo
Agreed
