This is why I don’t use Twitter. If I did I’d happily give him a positive comment, but there’s no way I’m going near that place. You couldn’t pay me to.
I’d be interested to know if the critics are as vocal about the footage of police chiefs and protesters kneeling side by side? It’s unity. Surely the outcome everyone wants.
I do think we have to be careful not to promote the idea that protesters or people who support them are all militant crusaders ready to tear people down. I think most just want change and proper reform so the system protects us all.
Looters and pillagers are bottom-feeders, an unfortunate bi-product of many mass protest events. They also shouldn’t be allowed to distract from the call for change or be misrepresented as allies.
Anyway, this is getting a bit political and I just swore off that. I’m going to watch the footy 🏈
