What were your plans for 2020 that you missed.

For me it's

1) an upcoming Backstreet Boys Concert in October (now postponed til June 2021).

2) A brand new promotion job (substitute teacher to regular teacher).

3) Possibly Kayaking and chilling at the beach.

4) Trip to my families native country in December.

5) My 30th b-day party in May.

reply

1. Pinball arcade convention, postponed indefinitely.

2. Transitioning into a better career.

3. Light travel/visiting friends.

4. Having a wild and slutty summer.

5. Enjoying local rinky-dink wrestling shows.

Yeah that’s tough. Family separation is the worst. I hope you get to see him soon.

Crue, Poison and Leppard were all playing on the same ticket?

reply

Damn!
That would have been awesome!

reply

They were yes. They're rescheduling it to 2021 but we'll see.

Welcome to MovieChat! 🎈

1. Visiting my children and grandchildren.
2. Meeting my brand new twin grandsons born 5/20. (This one is really hard.)
3. Free summer concerts-in-the-park 3 blocks from my home.
4. Hanging out with the neighbors.
5. Meeting former co-workers for dinner at a restaurant.

The vacation I had scheduled for April, I had to cancel my plans and work the whole time.

reply

None really. I planned to go to work and I have gone to work. lol.

Last year I was considering maybe an overseas trip at the end of this year, which is unlikely but not out of the question, so we'll see. If not, I'll travel within my country and I'm sure enjoy it just as much.

Small sacrifices. Nothing to complain about.

reply

I agree with you. Compared to previous generations' sacrifices, ours are lame. Being asked to wear a face mask is nothing. Yeah, I don't like it, but if it helps protect those around me, I'm happy to do it.
